Albergo Atlantic - Μπολόνια

This is absolutely the best bargain in Bologna, as long as you do not expect five star hotel(which are around the corner). It is walking distance to every site, well located in the old city. Staff is outstanding and patient. Room is a little stark, but clean, and bed comfortable.

I can only speak of the two single rooms I occupied for 5 days, both of which I had not seen before booking. Both could appear somewhat claustro-phobic on seeing them: one has no real window but a skylight with a window and a blind which can be mechanically opened and closed; the other one is like a 30 foot corridor which does not allow even a small […] bedside table and has a big window with just a sheer curtain, no shutter. I adapted quite well to the first room; I am not sure I would have liked the second one because I usually rest in the afternoon and can only sleep in the dark Having said that I will immediately add that the staff is very helpful, the hotel is very clean and very well placed and offers a very good breakfast. If I go back to Bologna I would certainly check the availability at the Atlantic first, even because I am sure the double rooms are more welcoming. Trawled through a few hotels to find the one with the best rating / lowest price and this was it. It is in a parallel road off the main street and easy to find . We got the bus from the airport - 6 euros each way. Hotel staff all spoke good English and were very helpful - 1 even booked a table at one of the recommended restaurants for us. Breakfast […] was good - small room, but minor detail. Very clean and spacious rooms - tv small and hard to work with 2 remotes - 1 for tv and 1 for satelite, but again minor stuff. As for Bologna - LOTS OF graphitti everywhere and bits broken off statues with a generally run down feel about areas of it. The main piazza was OK but expensive12 euros for a beer and a small glass of wine and there is some major restoration going on. We only stopped there 1 night as we were moving on down to Tuscany the next day, which was plenty of time to see all the major things. Lots of restaurants, clothes shops and funnily book shops.There was a good flea market on Thursday - not sure if its on every week? There were some scarves on offer for 1 euro that had the muslim women scrambling like flies round ... ripping open all the bags which amused me. So overall if you are going to Bolgna I do recommend the hotel, but as for Bologna itself - seen nicer places. Διαβάστε περισσότερα

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day break at this hotel, the central location made it ideal for exploring Bologna. The main shopping street and market are very close by. A wide choice of restaurants are just a short walk away. The staff were friendly & helpful, it is a very clean and well maintained hotel. We enjoyed the simple breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, […] cereal and pastries, the capuccinos were delicous. We were shocked at the amount of grafitti on the buildings throughout Bologna, it seemed to be everywhere we looked, such a shame. Only stayed for one night but had a great time. Everything was as it should be.

Mycket bra hotell för ett bra pris, bra frukost och mycket bra service när gäller att hjälpa till att hitta saker i staden. Lite hårda sängar annars var rummet bra.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt i parallellgata til Bolognas hovedgate via dell'Indipendenza. Ca fem minutter å rusle ned til Piazza Maggiore. To hyggelige restauranter og en veldig bra gelateria kun få meter fra hotellet. God service døgnet rundt, hyggelige folk i resepsjonen som var behjelpelige med alt. Lyst og rent hotel med hjælpsomt personale. Det eneste vi kunne savne var mulighed for at sidde på hver sin stol i værelset, som kun indeholdt 1 stol. Hotellet kan så absolut anbefales og er rigtigt godt i forhold til prisen. NB Er man til en god madoplevelse kan denne lille restaurant anbefales. Great location, friendly staff. Great value for the money. The only minus was a hard pillow.
