"Great stay overall"
My friends and I came to Portland to mainly to eat and drink. Basically to destress from the hustle and bustle of California life. The location was perfect for our purposes as it was close to many good restaurants and pubs. "Great quality and spacious"
This was our first time in the USA, there for a conference, and we found the hotel to be fantastic. The room (which I believe was an "accessibility" room) was very spacious, modern, clean and very good quality. Room service was good and all staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and pillows nice and fluffy. The restaurant downstairs […] was open from early to late and does great food. The area is "downtown", so a little removed from the city centre, but Portland CBD is SO EASY to get around, we didn't notice it. It's also five mins stroll to great places like Voodoo Donuts and Stumptown Coffee and the MAX lightrail (yellow and green line) is right outside. There's a homeless shelter a couple of blocks away so there's a few homeless people around, but we were never bothered or upset by any of them (and after doing some more travel around North America it's possible that that is just a normal amount of homeless people). We came here as a vacation from our vacation! Had a great time walking to all the food carts and restaurants... The only time we needed our car was to go to the Japanese Gardens and Multnomah Falls... I would suggest researching a different location to park ad it is $30 per day... "Great service and location, but..."
the comfort of the bed was HORRIBLE. The bed was ROCK HARD and the pillows were so puffy and dense that you were practically sitting up in bed. Once we finally were able to doze off, it was without a pillow altogether. "Clean Beautiful Room"
I give the room 4 stars instead of 5 only because it was a bit tiny, the flat screen TV was relatively small and you cannot order movies. The hotel staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. They were very accommodating, giving us small extras due to my pregnancy. The hotel was clean and very modern in decoration. "In the middle of everything"
Great location, great hotel. My only issues were with the housekeeping -- our room was serviced each day but pillows were left on the floor, dirty glasses left, paper on the floor. All minor details that didn't detract from the stay but certainly there was too much attention to detail. On the plus side, the hotel is in walking distance to everything […] and right on the light rail line. "conviently located, walking distance to many attra"
Wow, this hotel far exceeded my expectations. When looking for a place, the others that were within $20 or so in price had horrible reviews and looked kind of scary. So I thought, spend the extra $20. This hotel was beautiful, room was beautiful, very comfortable...staff were excellent and friendly. There are a couple of on street parking lots within […] a block or you can pay extra for secured valet parking which we did as we had been shopping all day. It was well worth the money. Resturant in hotel or you can venture out, great resturants within a few blocks, downtown shopping within walking distance. Great experience, highly recommend. "Great location and good rates"
The hotel is in a great city location, and you can easliy walk anywhere, such as to the town centrte or arts district. The front of house staff are excellent and friendly, and we enjoyerd the Dinerette on the premises for some quick meals. "They will charge you for services not rendered"
Recently stayed here. Was charged an extra 20.00 on my card at check in. "Pleasant stay"

"Nice Hotel Great Downtown Location"
The room was clean and beds were comfortable. I asked for extra sheets and toothpaste and it was brought up right away. My friend thought there was something wrong with the tub (wasn't draining properly) but it turns out he just didn't know how to use it! Anyway the maintenance guy was in the room taking a look in under 20 mins. There is a clean gym […] there we wandered into, but no pool. The staff at the front was helpful and courteous. It's close to downtown foodcarts, bars and restaurants. We walked everywhere downtown and took a cab once. The parking cost at the hotel sucks. Park on the street overnight if your fortunate enough to find a spot on the street. We found one right across the street two nights in a row ;) Would definately stay there again. "Great night of sleep but would have liked a movie."
Very comfortable nice rooms. A bit tight maybe, but a great view from the 10th floor. Not a lot of restaurants within a few blocks, but with a short cab ride, there are tons. We enjoyed our stay. Downtown seems quite safe and only a few blocks to lots of great places. $30 parking fee and not having any in room movies available for purchase was a do […] wnfall.
