This hotel is surprisingly close to the Kishibe JR station, which was a blessing with too much luggage. Even though it is close, you cannot hear the train sounds from your room, unless your window is open...yes, the windows open! Very nice feature. Even though I had requested a non-smoking room, they told me they were sorry but those had already been […] given away. They did everything they could to make the stay more comfortable, providing me with an air purifier to get rid of the smell. The japanese breakfast was very good, and very cheap! Also, if you ask them how to get to a tourist destination and they do not know, they provide you with multiple maps and actually go online and print out information for you...super helpful. This hotel was a little better than I expected. Rooms were small but cozy, only spent time sleeping and showering for the two nights I was there. Close to the Skyliner terminal at Ueno but some better instructions than what Google Maps offered would have been nice when arriving at 10.30pm with a snowboard bag and having to traverse the pedestrian bridges […] to get there. Basic business hotel really close to Ueno station, so it's very practical for travelling on the JR lines, or the Keisei line to Narita. The room was rather small, which was ok for the price, but there was no balcony as described in the reservation. Also, my room had a quite annoying bad/old smell.

The rooms are very small in comparison to american standards, but that is to be expected in Japan, you will get used to it pretty fast. The hotel is well maintained, and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. It is very very convenient to the subway lines and the Keisei Airport line if you are flying into the Narita Airport, this is an excellent choice. […] It was super easy to take the Keisei Skyliner that gets you there in about 40 minutes, granted it is a bit of a walk through the subway system with luggage, but not bad, once you exit out of exit # 2 it is only about a 2 minute walk. Super easy to get anywhere in the city from this area. And the hotel is tucked out of the way a bit so not a lot of noise, and peaceful for sleep, and I felt very safe in this neighborhood. The hotel location is ideal: ueno is full a nice little restaurant streets, on a major subway hub and at walking distance to the wonderful tokyo national museum and several shrines. The hotel was extremely clean and the room confortable, although a little small but this is normal for tokyo. This hotel is conveniently located close to the Ueno station. The room is small and clean. It served it's purpose as a place to stay one night before traveling on to Narita the next day.

I wanted to stay close to Ueno station for the JR train line; this place was perfect. But I had a little trouble finding it at first, even with the map from the hotel's website. If you're leaving the JR station take the main or central exit, walk across the pedestrian overpass, and you're about a block away. This hotel is only a block from an entrance to the Ueno Metro and JR station, and a few minutes walk from the Keisei station. There are lots of great restaurants and shops nearby, as well as Ueno Park. I stayed here for 4 nights to begin my travels around Japan. Only a few minutes walk from the station, elevators too, so it was easy to take my luggage with me and walk to the hotel. The room was small but comfortable. The shower nice and powerful with Shiseido products free to use! The staff were all really helprful and friendly. They arranged for […] my baggage to be transported to my next hotel, and had all kinds of leaflets for the various tourist sights around Tokyo behind their front desk - you just have to ask :) I didn't try the restaurant downstairs, prefering to find other local (and cheaper) restaurants. I am a female travelling on my own, and the area felt very safe to walk around in at night. Lively , but safe! Directly outside the hotel it is very quiet, but a few minutes walk away and you are in a lively area full of restaurants, izakayas and pachinko parlours! It was easy to find the hotel, and it's conveniently located near to a Lawsons and a Family Mart. The 7-Eleven was only about a five minute walk away. 7-Elevens are the only places my English card will work in the ATMs (I am using a Nationwide card) and the hotel staff gave me a leaflet with English instructions for using the ATM. Turned out it was easy without the instructions, but I appreciated their thoughtfulness and guidance! Was a great place to begin my travels and I would definitely stay there again. In fact, I will be popping back in a week or so to pick up something I left with them for safe-keeping while I travel around! We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights in Dec 2010. This hotel has all the basic conveniences that one will require. Clean rooms and toilets, easy access to Ueno Train Station and walking distance to some of the best and affordable Japanese food and delicacies. And of course, shopping. Even though this is only a 3 star hotel, the service by the manager […] and staff of this hotel is what stands out and some 5 star hotels staff can learn from the team here! For example, we took our laundry for drying on the rooftop of the hotel but we are worried that we might not get back in time in the evening to collect them before the rooftop access is closed for the night. When we informed an elderly lady at the hotel's front desk, she immediately volunteered to collect our clothings for us in the evening and put them back in our rooms! When we got back that night, our dry clothings are all folded nicely on our bed. How do you beat that! The front desk team is extremely proactive and willing to help. When we asked for a tape to seal some souvenirs, they provided us with not only the tape, but bubble wrap as well when they saw that some of the items are fragile! The hotel manager (unfortunately I did not get his name) leads by example and this probably explains why the entire team is so attentive and always ready to lend a hand. During our check out, when the manager noticed that we have quite a fair bit of luggage to drag to the Ueno train station, he proactively showed us the underground way to the station, without having to take escalators or climb flights of stairs. Je suis absolument ravie de mon sejour dans cet hotel. Lille hotel i gåafstand til Ueno togstation og det summende byliv i de hyggelige gågader. Små værelser men komforten er god. Svær at finde, også for taxachauffører, så det anbefales at medbringe adressen på japansk. Jeg kommer gerne igen!

É um bom hotel para o objetivo que está se propondo. Um hotel prático, confortável, baixo custo, e de ótima localização. Apesar da limitação do espaço do quarto (características dos hotéis japoneses e já vi piores), não deixa de ser uma boa opção.
