Πολύ καλή σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής. Σχετικά κοντά στο κέντρο αν θέλεις να κινηθείς πεζός. Πολύ ήσυχο με όμορφα δωμάτια και πολύ καλό πρωινό. Το μόνο αρνητικό, οι πετσέτες που χρειάζονται αντικατάσταση.

I enjoyed everything about the hotel. Quality of the rooms, air conditioning, the spa and pools. We are a family of 4 with 2 children in University. We had adjoining rooms and our stay was fantastic. Very efficient, friendly, and accommodating staff at all levels. Conveniently located to public transport which easily takes you anywhere in the city. Swimming pool(s), jaccuzi, and saunas added treat. Would definitely stay again if opportunity presents itself.

Having planned our previous 8 City Break weekends with work colleagues in the past, I have gained the reputation of picking some pretty decent Hotels. I therefore deliberated over several Hotels in Budapest and was determined to keep up my reputation for this trip. After some weeks of researching, I decided that the Zara would fit the criteria that […] would suit us best. I have to say that for value for money, than this is probably been my best pick yet. The Hotel has a very Boutique feel to it and from walking in the old restored revolving door, you are met by very friendly staff. They are only too pleased to offer assistance where required. There is a nice Gallery Bar area on the 1st floor, which overlooks the front door exit at one side and the Grand Piano at the other side. Most of us used the leisure facilities at some point during our 4-day stay and I also ventured into the gym on a couple of occasions. The standard rooms are not overly big, but adequate enough for a few nights. Overall, for the price we paid, I think this was the best I have picked so far. Indeed, one of our group who has been on all the 8-trips with me, described the Hotel as spectacular for the money we paid. I don't think that you can get a better summary than that. brilliant location, beautiful hotel, great amenities including spa access, lovely room, amazing price!! The only small problem - no aircon turned on in the hotel until mid-march - we were there in early march and actually our room got too warm! Otherwise brilliant.

It general everything is absolutely perfect. Clean rooms, good services, good gym and pool. The only thing I can cricticize is the in-room facilities. No kettle, toothbrush, slippers and all the basic stuff. For a decent hotel I would expect them to be provided however you can request all these from the housekeeping. Will go again definitely.

I really liked the hotel. The location was perfect,10 min walk to the city centre where you could reach all the metro lines and you could see the main shopping streeet as well. The hotel was really nice and clean. The staff was very helpful. I would certainly come back here again.

Great location as it's not in a noisy area but a walkable distance to central Pest. Service outstanding in every way. Room was spotless, cleaned everyday with a towel turning service on evening. Offers spa and massage treatments and has two swimming pools. Breakfast was great quality with plenty of selection. Highly recommended hotel

This is a spacious business class hotel but a lot cheaper than you'd expect to pay. It's conveniently close to tram and metro stations and several points of interest (as in museums, etc) but surrounded by large avenues, so not all that pleasant to walk around. Nothing to disappoint at this hotel. Fabulous old building, great staff , good breakfast. Loved the city. There are some good places to eat locally and don't forget to book the opera when you go. Cheap as chips in the balcony and a great experience

Hotel in an excellent location not to far out of the city centre just about 15 minute stroll room did not come with tea/coffee making facilities but was givern free of charge upon request (not to many hotels would do that ) reception staff very friendly and knowledgeable and very courtious

I travelled to Budapest with my partner as a surprise birthday present for him. The staff at the Contintental Zara were incredibly helpful, starting with the excellent concierge service by email before we even arrived. We were given an upgrade as soon as I mentioned my partner's birthday, and there was a card and fruit basket waiting in the room. The location of this hotel was in an area of Pest close to lots of great bars and restaurants, and an easy 15 minute walk to all the attractions. The room was spotless, and we loved the high ceiling of the room. No street noise whatsoever in the room. Breakfast is nice and varied. Had a standard twin room at the Continental Hotel Zara. It was clean and well furnished with plenty of space. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the metro, so easy to get around the city. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna were a nice place to relax after a hard days sightseeing. The hotel was not OK, more like a 3 than a 4 star. The standard rooms are well appointed but small. The mattress was too firm for my liking. We had a very nice stay very close to the subway station, next to a upscale indian restaurant, lots of places to see and eat. Don't change money at the main station of western union. many exchange places give much better change rates. breakfast was awesome, rooms new and hotel classic architecture. Great value for the money.

I can recommend the hotel without reservation - you can't beat the location, location, location... Took one point away from the comfort because the room is smallish and the thermostat is there only for decoration; no matter what you set it to, it keeps whatever temperature I assume is set centrally. The hotel is beautiful in an old former spa (only the facade and a dome remain). The personnel are very friendly and helpful and the room is lovely with the usual amenities. Free internet ( a big plus for me) and a wonderful buffet breakfast in the very nice hotel restaurant ARAZ. Good location on a quiet street just off a main avenue and about 3-4 […] min. walk to the Metro. Admittedly it's not on the river, so no views, but for the price it can't be beat. I've stayed in a number of Budapest hotels (including the most famous and expensive), and this one ranks with the best for room, service and amenities. I couldn't fault this hotel. The staff are friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and the breakfast is fantastic. The hotel is in a good location for most main attractions and in walking distance of most bars and restaurants. This is a great hotel for a first time trip to Budapest.

Excellent hotel with very pleasant and efficient staff. Plenty of bars and restaurants just outside. The Hop on Hop off buses stop at the top of the street and you can buy tickets for it at reception. I would only say that be careful of the hotel taxi which is expensive. We booked our transfers to and from the airport with Airport transfers Budapest […] online and saved quite a bit of money. Generally it would seem that Taxis in Budapest tend to be expensive. Besides being nice clean an updated, the hotel had a nice "spa-area" including an otdoor swimmingpool on the top floor. We liked staying there a lot, even though we were disappointed when we used the restaurant for dinner.

We were very impressed with this hotel for what we paid it was immaculate, very comfy beds and modern furnishings, breakfast was lovely and had everything you could thing of, the spa and pool area was great and the service was perfect - we arrived late but this was no bother and bags were still taken to our room etc. Definately recommended.

The check-in was swift no doubt, and the bell-boy took my bag without being asked. The room was compact but comfortable for one. The lifts were the problems. One was down for two nights during my four-night stay. WHY? It did not make sense. Took a good three minutes to get from the 6th floor to the cafe. The sink did not flow on the 3rd night. Went […] straight to the concierge (horrors!). No technical staff then (10pm). This is pretty unusual for a hotel this scale. The concierge told me a staff would come to "try and fix" it. No. Waited for 20 minutes. No one came. I fixed it. The noisy neighbours who banged doors in and out - Contacted the reception and a man took my call. He listened but could not do much, and guess what? He hanged up the phone in a hurry, literally dumping the phone. Almost cracked my ears. There were some nasty guests as well, who were brute and unsophisticated (D-land), and acted as if they were VIPs. The saving grace? The staff at the restaurant in the morning (F, K, P, N). They tried and were attentive. The smiles were genuine. The 7th floor was sweet, especially on the night of the fireworks. Finally, it could just be me. The hotel does not seem to welcome Asian guests. Perhaps some bad experiences with Asians, but I hope it does not affect the services provided to OTHER guests from better Asian countries.
