Joecons Beach Resort has an outdoor pool and a children's pool. Public areas are equipped with wireless and wired high-speed Internet access (surcharges apply). Benaulim Beach is less than 2 km south of Colva and 40 km away from Panaji, the state capital. It is a comparatively quiet beach with a peaceful atmosphere, but it can get busy on weekends with local visitors. The restaurants here serve the most competitively priced seafood in Goa; the reason being Goa’s proximity from the sea to the Margao market and its fishing community. Benaulim's accommodation consists mostly of small budget guesthouses and a few mid-range hotels scattered near the beach. However, with the opening of star resorts such as Taj Exotica, a Mediterranean-style 5-star resort, this place is attracting tourists like never before and fast gaining popularity. The village surrounding Benaulim beach is well-known for handicrafts.

We were very happy with our stay overall. Clean, less crowded and the beach is pretty good. Except that we will have to travel a bit for the city center. But we dint mind it at all.
"Good hotel - some drawbacks though"
Generally speaking this is a well run hotel with a walking distance from the beach (700 meters). Two major drawbacks which affects the quality of sleep: 1) there is loud music playing in the garden six nights a week, you surely need earplugs every night till about 1 am if you go to bed earlier. 2) airconditioning is placed above your bed, you can not […] really use it during the night because of the the draft, and it gets quite hot here. "Very Good exp staying there"
No complaints...so this describes everything about hotel and our stay there. Food is excellent,staff is very helpful and did everything right to make us feel comfortable there. Recommend this hotel to stay in Goa.

Joecons Resort served the purpose of my visit to South Goa, which was to meet some relatives who were staying close by. The hotel campus, rooms, service were very satisfactory and will recommend this hotel for all those who want value for their money. They will have to put up with a 10 - 15 minute walk to a very nice scarcely populated beach. One aspect […] the hotel should improve upon is to provide a secure parking facility for cars. I had to park my car outside the campus on the side of a very narrow public road for the 2 nights we were there. IF anything damage had occurred to my car, then ALL the hotels good points would have been wasted - as far as i am concerned. The damage would have been much more than the bill I paid to the hotel. Not on the beach - 5 minute walk to beach - past other resorts. Daytime staff at desk were grumpy - evening staff were great. Overall great experience - nice rooms, good location, good restaurant. Would return
"Money extraction policy"
The GM of the hotel was rude in public dealing and demanded extra money on depature I do not recomend this hotel

Nice place. The gardens and pool are beautiful. My suite with private balcony on the 2nd floor was gorgeous. It's a little far from the beach. The free shuttle to/from the beach turned out to be unreliable so i walked--about 10 min. Not unpleasant if you don't mind the roadside hawkers. The beach is lovely and the water is perfect. The guests were […] mostly Russians, Germans and Poles. The food at the two restaurants is excellent. I had the freshest seafood every night. The service is excellent, first rate; warm and attentive but never in-your-face. I felt welcome and pampered even though i was traveling alone. One major problem for me: no WiFi in the rooms, and no way to make a long distance phone call from the hotel land line. When i asked about both services, they guy at the front desk was really nasty. "Joecon's Beach Resort, Goa"
Beautiful room. Lovely building and facilities. We enjoyed the resturant meals, entertainment and dancing. Service was a bit slow and room service lost our meal once. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were the best we've had in India. The pool was sparkling. Walk to the beach shack was pleasant but don't walk there at night -dogs […] attack. "niet ver van strand en omliggende winkeltjes"
Heerlijk, mijn man en ik met ons zoontje van 16 maanden hebben hier 12 dagen genoten van dit hotel. Enig minpuntje, s'avonds voorzien ze van een uur of 8u live music, dan hoor je wel alles tot in je kamer, ook als je vroeg wil gaan slapen. Dus een rustig babbeltje in het restaurant s'avonds was ook relatief. Wel jammer. Het restaurant is zeer goed en […] relatief goedkoop.Wij kunnen dit hotel-resort echt aan iedereen aanbevelen. Wel best een scootertje huren, want te voet naar het omliggende dorp of stad is niet te doen in de hitte, de afstand naar de zee van het hotel is maar 2 min met de scooter, dus dat is wel te doen te voet. "Mindre bra service"
Hotellet ligger ca 1 km från stranden och hotellet skulle ha en bus som gick fram och tillbaks. Detta fungerade mycket dåligt. Poolen var jättefin och det fanns en bra barndel också. Servicen vid poolen var dock usel. Det fanns en poolbar, men den var aldrig öppen. Man var tvungen att gå bort till restaurangen om man ville beställa något.
