Sutton Place Hotel Ueno - Τόκιο, Ιαπωνία

Good location for Ueno shopping and if you have a pasmo card the sky's the limit!

For the price this hotel was fine. To commute from Narita airport was very easy. It was a great location since the Ueno station was 45 minutes via the express train. The ueno station was about 10 minutes walk. The JR station was 7 minutes. The hotel offers a free continental breakfast which was very helpful. The staff was very helpful.

I liked the location near the Ueno station. The hotel staff was very helpful. It was nice to have coffee and rolls in the morning. I missed not having WiFi in the rooms and also not being able to print my airline boarding passes off the hotel computers. Overall the stay was very good and I would return. Thank you.

Stayed for 2 nights alone. Was assigned room on the 5th floor. Cant expect much for a 3star hotel . Room was clean n made up every day. A bit smaller then the usual rooms in other countries ive been to. Quite near the Ueno and Keisei station which is a plus. Nice and Comfy Hotel, recomended for Family with children like me, the hotel is in walking distance to JR station, but not so close to subway station... But the room and service is very good !

I stayed here for 2 nights, at the superior single room. Had a room on the 10/F. No problems with noise at all, despite being located next to a big street. Friendly staff with above average English and very helpful with way finding. Guests are given a key to the guest rooms and are required to leave the key when leaving the building. Room was meticulously […] clean and has modern decor. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Just 1 minute from the Ueno JR and no more than 8 mins walk from the KEISEI line which is a mere 40 min ride from the airport. Also, only about a 5 min walk from the Hibiya and Ginza line which took me to most places I had to visit on this 2 day trip. There are some local eateries around the hotel, and quite a bit to explore around the neighborhood, such as the 0101 shopping mall, Ueno Park, and Ameyoko. All within 5 min walk! Very easy to get to from Narita airport. Catch the Skyliner and you're there in 40 mins. 5 - 10 min walk from the station. Ueno is a less touristy, more locals area. Didn't have much of a chance to check out the area, but it seemed like there was a bit going on. Very close to the JR station, so you can get to Shinjuku in 25min. Also close to 2 subway […] lines. Rooms are small, as expected in Tokyo. Walls in the room needed a fresh coat of paint. But apart from that, the hotel was very sufficient if you don't want to stay in the heart of the touristy areas. For a first timer in Japan reaching the hotel was a breeze.Subsequent trips to all places made us realise how the hotels location made it so easy to travel. The lobby was a passage,the reception area small and the rooms tiny.We were hitting our bags every time we had to move in our room. The staff was not so fluent in English so we had to be reserved […] in our queries though they were always very helpful. The Room was clean and well kept and though they had to give us a smoking room,care was taken to wipe out all traces of smoke before we checked in. Room service was a wee bit erratic.There was a day when there were remnants of toothpaste splashes on the bathroom mirror even after the service was done. On one day the wash towels were not replenished. Other than that the service was good. Breakfast was basic but it served us the comfort of not having to move out early morning. Overall we were happy with our stay.if we were to travel to Tokyo again,I would choose another hotel simply for a little more spaciousness.For every other reason I would choose Sutton Place. For the price, this hotel was more than we could have asked for. It is right near the Ueno train station and Subway giving quick access to anywhere in Tokyo. Ueno Park is across the street and it's also near charming Asakusa. The rooms were small, but we heard most Tokyo hotels were small. Amenities...shampoo,soap,toothbrush, razors,continental breakfast,coffee,tea […] etc. are free of charge. The rooms are very clean. We loved the ToTo toilet with seat warmer and bidet. Fancy stuff, Two computers are available to use in the lobby free of charge. The TV is only in Japanese, but we weren't there to watch TV. There is a little traffic noise from window. Just below the hotel, there are few restaurant (including a Chinese which opened till midnight). It's convenient if you plan to come home late.

This hotel came recommended from several sites. No issues with check-in. This is just a very convenient place to stay in Tokyo.

I loved staying at this hotel. It was located very near a major subway and train station (convenient!) and a park with museums (fall out of bed and be a tourist!). The room, although quite small, was really clean and peaceful. Cotton robe, cloth slippers, big bathtub, little refrigerator, desk area, blinds that really closed for full blackout--great! […] They have free coffee and tea (hot and cold) 24/7 as well as a laundry room. Short walking distant from JR line. A little noisy as we can hear Ambulance, Police car siren. Can forget about their breakfast as only bread and beverages provided. Ameyoko market street and other shopping centres are nearby.

Tres bon sejour de 2 nuits. Le personnel est disponible pour repondre aux questions, la chambre petite mais sympa! Tres propre, nous avions une chambre fumeur au 8eme mais pas d'odeur de tabac! Petit déjeuner simple mais à volonté. Si je dois retourner à Tokyo, j'irai sans hésitations au Sutton!

这家酒店和之前在东京住过的经济型酒店相比, 我比推荐这家. 它没有相对宽敞明亮的大堂, 相反从大门进去后要坐电梯到3层才到大堂. 电梯门打开后你会发现所谓的大堂不过20平米左右大小. 让你开始怀疑这能算得上是个3星级的酒店吗? (虽然很多人都说, 在日本酒店没有星级). Check-in之后，来到房间的楼层你又会发现，一层楼大概也就5-6个房间。规模确实小。最后也是最重要的就是你的房间。我住的单人间，面积大概不超过14平米。先经过卫生间，然后是床和写字台部分。卫生间是半开放式的，有一个推拉门。整个卫生间的墙和地用黄色瓷砖装饰，与其他同等级的酒店大都用白色塑料类材质装饰的一体型卫生间相比，要更时尚。浴缸也是大的瓷制浴缸而不是塑料的那种。所谓的卧室部分铺的是木地板而不是地毯。家具和地板都是深色系 […] 。床挺大的。但是过道真的很窄，一个人能刚刚通过。也没有壁柜用来挂衣服，只是在卫生间对面的墙上有两个挂钩和几个衣架让客人挂衣服。饭店2层有自助贩卖机，同时也提供免费茶、咖啡和水。 酒店硬件介绍完后要说的是软件了。在我看来，酒店最大的卖点是地理位置。步行到地铁站最近的入口只要2分钟左右。到JR山手线的车站大约5分钟左右。到京成线的上野站10分钟左右。所以无论是往返机场还是东京市内都很方便。酒店附近也有很饭馆，晚上吃饭什么的很方便。周边也有很多景点如动物园，博物馆等，还有很多商店可以逛。 总之，对于预算不高，大部分选择公共交通工具的旅行者来说，这是个不错的选择。 Διαβάστε περισσότερα

成田空港への前泊に利用しました。京成上野駅までは少し距離がありますが、晴れていれば問題ない距離です。 部屋は狭いながらも快適に過ごせるよう工夫されており、窮屈な感じはありませんでした。入ってすぐのスペースに大型スーツケースをギリギリ開くことができました。

上野は成田空港へのアクセスが良いので、午前出発であっても、前日の夜充分東京を満喫できる。ホテルは京成線までは少し歩くが、スーツケースを持っていても全く苦痛でない距離。 部屋は大きなスーツケースがあると少し狭さを感じるが、とてもきれいでアメニティーはかなり充実していて、質も良い。簡単な朝食が付くのも嬉しい。 コンビニも近くにあり便利。大きな通り沿いに面しているが、私はさほど騒音を感じず眠る事ができた。 天井付けのエアコンの吹出し口に誇りが溜まっていたのが唯一私が見つけた欠点かもしれない。
