ολα καλα απο αποψη θεσης κλπ αρνητικα - τα στρωματα πολυ ασχημα ,παλια κ φθαρμενα με αποτελεσμα να κανουμε ασχημο υπνο -τα παραθυρα δεν ανοιγανε,θερμανση δεν υπηρχε κ μασ φερανε ενα extra σωμα καλοριφερ ! -το πρωινο κοστιζε 25 ευρω κ το προσφεραν στο ισογειο σε ενα σκοτεινο μερος διπλα στη reseption - παρολ αυτα ,το σημειο ηταν εξαιρετικο και το προσωπικο πολυ καλο κ ευγενικο,μολις καναμε παραπονο αμεσως μας αλλαξανε δωματιο!

I've stayed there for a week . the hotel is new and therefore it's also sophisticated . it has spacious rooms with a huge desk and every room has its own toilet sink and shower which all are clean and comfortable .the beds are wide and relaxing . also they have a safe where you can store a laptop and several European type of power sockets and a small refrigerator . the rooms are warm (WITH CENTRAL HEATING THAT YOU CAN ADJUST) I was surprised from the headed minor in the bathroom .OH I forgot to include the hair dryer . the rooms are nThe only problem about the room was the pressure of the water in the shower was a bit low but it was satisfying for me . 9.9/10 for the room. The staff was great ,THEY WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY WILLING TO HELP AND THEY WERE ALSO VERY COOPERATIVE BETWEEN THEM WITH MAKES THEM A GREAT TEAM. WELL DONE. Now about the location . quiet even thought there is a building construction next to the hotel . and it is located next to Master central station from where you can take the drum and you are at the center of Amsterdam in 19 minutes max. also from Master station there is a night busses (355) for those aftermidnight hours. by foot you need about 20minutes from the center if you can walk a bit fast. the hotel hires its own bicycles. Overall I am very happy with the hotel.

"Nice little gem"
Short walking distance from Dam Square and Amsterdam Centraal. Also near to tram stops. Quad room was basic but good sized. Bathroom was small but excellent. Nice breakfast. Only downside is the room really smell of paint, probably due to recent refurbishment.

This hotel is convenient for both the Jordaan area as well as a short walk to Dam Square. The rooms are small, but clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and housekeeping is done daily. "Hotel Hegra, Amsterdam - everything you need"
We had a lovely stay, you get everything you need for a 2 star hotel and such a cheap price. Friendly helpful staff, free WiFi, nice breakfast and a great location 3 minutes walk from Dam Square. If you dont mind small rooms and sharing a bathroom, then we would deffinitely recommend it!

This place has everything to offer, it's character with age abounding. the narrow staircases you think you'll never get up but after a few days walking the incredble streets you look forward to each and every step. For those Americans, this is not the Hilton but then again would you really want that ? Don't you want the pleasure of staying in a hotel […] that has been housing guests under its roof for hundreds of years, a simple yet deliciious breakfast, a staff that becomes your friend. You walk out the door to transport yourself into the 1600's walking distance to every major outdoor market, the dam, the museums and so much more. Don't miss this hidden treasure of Europe.. "Hotel Hegra"
Well situated in a quiet canal side location. However the basic room was a little smelly and the bin had not been emptied from the previous occupants. Overall very expensive for what you get.

We'd read about the narrow stair cases (really narrow) and the lack of amenities, but what do you want from a 1-star hotel? It served its purpose for our 24 hours in Amsterdam. "Small and clean room in good location"
Only breakfast, which should be from 8, but wasn't actually ready until 8.15, were disappointing. Very nice place otherwise.

The location is perfect, just 5 min from Dam Square. It is clean, i was in the top floor single room, which is very tiny (just one single bed and a sink, and just enough space to put the suitcase on the floor), and shower was on the 3rd floor (not very convenient). The stairs are not easy to climb so i would suggest to request a low floor room. With […] a large suitcase, forget about higher floors (there are 4 in total) A bit noisy as walls are not thick at all, could hear my neighbours talk. also last thing : there's no reception at night, and I wasn't provided any emergency number. So when I walked in at 05am, and my key wouldn't open my door, I had to live a nightmare in Amsterdam, in the middle of all drunk and stoned guys, to go to some friends hotel 30min walk from me and sleep there......! If you're staying in a single room, there's only one such room in the hotel, and it's right at the 4th floor. There is no lift and the staircase is very narrow and windy, so you'd have a big problem if you're carrying a bulky 28" suitcase.
