"Close to Town Centre and very Convenient"
We enjoyed our stay at Elim House but I would have liked a telephone number to have saved me driving around Bowness-in-Windermere about 4 times trying to find the Establishment. A phone call and I could have got directions.

when we arrived we were taken to the annex part which on 1st apperance looked awful but once inside the rooms were lovely decorated and clean and quite large, the lady who ran the hotel was lovely and helpful and the hotel was in a quiet street which was great

Great place to stay in Windermere/Bowness. Convenient location, great budget hotel, comfortable, clean, very friendly and delicious breakfast cooked just how you like it.

The Hotel was fine we were only there for two days on a walking weekend. The owners were very helpful and accomodating. the breakfast was very good and set you up for the day ahead. The Hotel was absolutely fine for what we needed.
"One night stay"
We had a one night stay at Elim Lodge and it was lovely. Everyone was very friendly I was just upset I was unwell Sunday morning so I was unable to enjoy the fantastic breakfast but all the rest of the party tucked in.

From the time we pulled up in our car til the time we left we felt very welcome here. Friendly, helpful owners who give you good advice of where to go and what to do. Fantastic breakfast to set you up for the day, whether it's walking, sight seeing, rowing, shopping etc. there is plenty to do.
"Super location and accommodating hosts"
We were looking for a short break away during Half Term and found the hotel through the Internet, last minute. What a wonderful spot! The guest house is one of many in the area. It was clean, comfortable and we couldn't have asked for a better location! The hosts were friendly but not imposing. A super location to explore the area!

Everything was flawless even the breakfast! Would highly recommend this to anyone although looking for a parking spot during peak season is a problem. Good work, Steve and Judith.

This is not really a cozy little B&B, but a small hotel. There is an annex behind the house that has several rooms -- clean and functional, but a bit institutional. Good breakfast, though, and a friendly staff. The location can't be beat. Be careful, though -- there are three B&Bs on the same little street that have Elim in the name. "Nice quiet corner in Windermere - Lake District"
Elim House sits in a nice little corner, about 10 mins walk from the lake. Near enough to walk to the lake to see the sunset, far enough to be away from the crowds. Steve and Judith were friendly. Overall, a satisfying stay.

Had a lovely two night stay in Elim House. Steve and Judith very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Excellent breakfast! Perfectly located for the shops, restaurants and Lake. Would most definately go there again.

this bnb has a very good location as you can walk easily to the center of Bowness-on-Windermere and drive to easily to the other towns and the park areas. also the bowness look out point is a short walk uphill. the owner/managers are very friendly and the service very good.

And great access to the tourist attractions - cruise trips, walks, buses and many restaurants. The couple that run the B&B are to themselves and you do not get to interact with them much.
