aletto Kudamm Hotel & Hostel was a great value. Keep in mind you are staying at a Hotel/Hostel and you will be fine. Stayed with 7 friends in 4 different... 2 person rooms. Rooms and bathrooms are relatively small, but nothing bad. Beds were fairly comfortable, linens changed daily, towels were not changed for the two nights I was there, don"t know the frequency. Room and Bathroom were also extremely clean and the place seems to be very well maintained. They offer a luggage room but it is self service and they give you the key, so I would not store valuables. There are a few lockers available for pay, but none were available when I looked. Breakfast was great. There is a nice rooftop patio and a billiards table & kicker table near the lobby. Location is minutes from the Zoo station with S and U Bahn connections, plus a bus to Tegel airport. There is also a grocery store at the Zoo station that is open Sundays, which is very convenient.
