The bed was comfy and the room seemed clean but there’s a couple things I didn’t like. One there wasn’t a microwave or refrigerator in the room. You would figure paying that much for one night those things would be in there. Two check out time is at 11 and the housekeeper came into my room at ten while we were still in there.

Lovely spot for a Christmas stay
We can out to visit our adult children for Christmas. The Cheshire felt cozy and Christmasy. The staff are wonderful. The hot breakfast was somewhat limited, but delicious. The beds were clean and comfortable. One thing to note, the bed frames stick out further than the mattresses, and are just waiting to crack your shin!
A great stay overall!

Nice hotel, needs better housekeeping
The Hotel is very quaint and on par with Hotel Roanoke for aesthetic purposes; however, the cleanliness was sub par. The bathroom door lock appeared to have been jimmied and left a sharp piece of metal sticking out that bit my thumb as I opened the door- I was concerned the baby would be injured too. The room was spacious enough and the decor was inviting. I loved that each room was named after a British author-we also received a bookmark! I would stay there again, but definitely address housekeeping issues in the beginning instead of at the end- the sink was gross with mold and hair- I couldn’t get water to go down
