Great stay and friendly staff.
Onyx is a fantastic apt hotel. Rooms are huge and very clean. Loved having a kitchen in room. Bed was super comfortable and room was quiet. 2 restaurants had amazing food and front desk staff were very helpful and nice. Pool area was small and water didn’t look that clean. The spa and wet steam are not included. Extra charge for both. Would def recommend and stay here again.

Staff were great! Hotel location was great! There was a mixup on check-in where the Hotel had not been notified that I had upgraded my room after making the initial booking. Mpumbi and Andre worked to resolve it. The 1-bedroom deluxe (with Balcony) was spacious. The included breakfast option was good as well, but the Hotel's best asset is their staff.

what an amazing deal the price for this apartment type room was the same for 5 nights as it would be for one of the fancy hotels in town for 2 nights When i arrived they had a complementary bottle of wine The maid did my dishes every day and left me coffee every day Sure not a huge pool or gym as you would find in the big hotels but good enough Food at both restaurants was superb also So convinent right across the street from the convention center and the hop on hop off stop

Nice overnight stay
It was a nice stay for an overnight accommodations. Although, we wanted to extend our stay and eat at the delicious hotel restaurants again. Only downside was the fact that the cable/satellite services wasn't working on any of the TV's. Front desk did send someone for the evening but he only got 1 televison working and we ended up having the same issue in the morning. But the room and views were exactly what I requested. I truly wanted to stay longer and enjoy the space.

Staff all very friendly and helpful, our room/apartment was well equipped for preparing snacks, meals if required. It was cleaned daily, regular fresh linen. Walking distance to the city, shops restaurants, lovely cafe and Asian cuisine attached . We had an enjoyable stay at Onyx. We are returning customers. The staff were friendly, the apartments are clean, with good convenient access to key locations (via Uber). Given the weather conditions on my travel, I was hoping to change one of my bookings around 5 days before my stay, but having discussed with the hotel unfortunately the hotel was inflexible with the policy so I had to pay for one extra night which I didn't stay (appreciate that the cancellation policy was 7 days before).
