Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces

Staff at front desk very helpful and accommodating as always. Parking lot still is a little too dark...some of the lights are not lit. The room was clean and comfortable....greatest disappointment for this trip....is the limited menu of the new restaurant...mostly sandwiches. The closing of the previous restaurant Garduno’s...had great dinners and a wonderful ambiance...one of the great perks for our previous stays.

It was terrible had to call the desk three times before they can get the people down below us to shut up at 1:30 in the morning was very disgusted with our room! Wanted to get our money back but there was no reply and nobody at the front desk when we checked out just left

This is a lovely hotel with traditional decor ( think heavy, solid wood, stone, iron furnishings),and comfortable lobby seating, all of which provided a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. Our receptionist was friendly and efficient, and our room on the 7th floor allowed us a great view of the beautiful patio and pool area. We were en route to Phoenix, so only spent one evening at the hotel. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Cleanliness was excellent, just had maintenance issues with sink in both rooms they put me in. No food of any kind available during my stay

The hotel is very run down. They said they are renovating, but everything needed repair. Our shower had stucco coming off the ceiling, the tv service wasn’t working, and and elevator was broken just to name a few things. The pool was run down, the towels were old and stained, and the walls and carpeting were stained and yellowed. Our most disappointing event however, was when we asked to either stay later, or use one of their conference rooms ( in the process of renovation, so unusable for hire) to allow us to perform on line teaching. We are both teachers and this curtesy of two hours, would have allowed us to extend our trip an additional day. Not only did they say no, but they charged us $50 for a late check out. Now if this were a normal year, and this would have caused them inconvenience or a loss of money, I would have understood. However, due to a COVID, here a just a few things that my room would have NORMALLY included but they canceled: breakfast, coffee, restaurant services, an ice machine, vending machines, regular hours in their gifts shop for incidentals, room service, housekeeping, and the ability to get into the hotel without having to park all the way in the back of the building and walk all the way to the front. Not having all of these things, you would think that asking for a little extension, AFTER we had already paid for 3 nights, wouldn’t have been a big deal. They did not tell us no because of COVID, they told us no because of $. VERY POOR PR CHOICE!

Nice hotel in Las Cruces. Didn’t do much with Covid. Pool area looked really nice, but too cold outside. Front desk was super nice. Compared to everything else here, this hotel looked very nice.

I loved the decor and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

Always enjoy our stay, when passing through. The hospitality at the desk is always good. Our room was comfortable and accommodating. We always look forward to having dinner at Gardunos. Their food and margaritas are excellent. With the COVID going on this year, the restaurant was not at full capacity, which is completely understandable. While the burger and chicken sandwich were very good, it was a little disappointing to learn, there was no Mexican food offered on the menu. The service from the bartender was great, and she made excellent margaritas!
