Marlin Hotel Stephens Green

We had a great stay, especially in this troubled time (covid-19). We received excellent service, thanks to Gavin and Jade, and our safety was their priority.

We were staying during the Coronavirus outbreak and really relied on the staff to help us through. They treated us like friends and family and went above and beyond to make sure guests were ok and comfortable. This hotel is really trendy, has a lot of space to work, hangout, and eat. To be basically confined to the hotel during this time, I’d say I got pretty lucky that I chose to stay here!

This a hotel of convenience, from it’s decor to location. Despite a smooth checkin and clean room, the shower in our VIP room was horribly difficult to use (not what you need before or after a long flight) and was also faulty, leaking & spraying water from the valve. In their efforts to make a fancy bathroom even the position of the robe/towel was pointless meaning that no matter what’s hung on them, they trail in the sink or trash can...Additionally, the purple mood lighting was very distracting and only not so when curtains were fully closed so the choice was darkness or a purple hue... could have been so much better. :(

There was a power cut at the hotel. They blamed the surrounding area. Yet was only the hotel that was out from 2050-2240. No phone call from reception no acknowledgement till the morning with a sign at reception. I was unable to shower and do my usual night time ritual. Went to bed fully clothed in case in was something more serious. But no emergency lighting and no communication to let customers or patrons know what was happening unacceptable service.

Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel stay. Great location, very clean, modern, charming staff - can highly recommend.

Nice modern hotel centrally based. Restaurant was closed so only the bar area serving food. Selection ok but menu could be improved. Staff are friendly overall but a couple could do with a little more training

What a Fabulous hotel this is, we were here for a friends surprised birthday and 12 of us stayed, from the moment we walked in the front door Andy greeted us and looked after us and he couldnt have been more helpful and friendly, lovely guy. The room was small but had everything we needed except one thing which was tea/coffee making which is always nice to have but not a deal breaker in this instance, it has a beautiful bar with again super friendly helpful staff, room was very quiet had a great nights sleep and a great breakfast, met Andy at checkout and he was again in great form and very friendly, we will be back for sure, also parking right across the street was very handy, over all 11/10 ; )
