Loved this property. Very plush. Lots of thoughtful extras. Very welcoming to our Dalmatian. Would love to stay here again.

My wife and I just returned from spending three nights celebrating our wedding anniversary by exploring The Ark Encounter and visiting various bourbon distilleries in the Lexington area. Historically we have preferred to stay at a Bred & Breakfast or a vacation home rather than a hotel, even if they are not located in the center of the "hustle & bustle." Stamping Ground, KY certainly is not located in the "hustle & bustle" of Lexington, but instead is located in a very quiet, beautiful, and rural setting. Before we ever traveled to this wonderful VRBO I communicated a few times with "Eric," one of the property owners, who was very prompt, polite and accommodating. Although I had not mentioned an approximate arrival time to Eric, upon our arrival we were immediately greeted by him. The accommodations were absolutely wonderful; from the heated tile bathroom floor, to the Sleep Number bed, to the finest of details, such as an anniversary card and bottle of wine, drinks in refrigerator, unopened bags of coffee, tea and cookies, a fully stocked basket of toiletries, in the event we had forgotten something, and treats for our dog. Outside of the beautiful and clean accommodations, it was the attention to detail that made us feel so at home. Although we were too busy to cook, this VRBO's kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, etc. to enable you to take full advantage of the beautiful kitchen. If you're looking for beautiful clean accommodations in a peaceful and quiet setting, and don't mind a little extra driving through the beautiful rolling hills of the bluegrass state, this VRBO is for you. You will not be disappointed. I gave this VRBO 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is off the beaten path and does require a little extra driving. Thanks Eric & Tammy for opening your home to us - if we ever return to the Lexington area we will definitely book with you again.

Everything was there, and then some! This place was amazing. there were extra amenities provided if we forgot virtually anything. Eric even shared some amazing pretzel's he made one morning. We will definitely come back again and tell all our friends about it. Great peaceful location near the ARK, Creation Museum, and all that Frankfort provides as far as Distilleries and Horse farms. We had a great relaxing weekend! The home was very clean, smelled great, & the host were very accommodating! They were so kind even gifted dog treats!

I really don't know where to begin... The location and scenery are amazing The property owners provide everything you need and actually go ABOVE and BRYOND to make sure your stay is perfect The rental property is immaculate with accommodations you would find in exclusive resorts (heated bathroom floors) We love that we found this gem and cannot wait to book another weekend getaway!

The place is quiet and well furnished. The pictures do not do it justice. Owners and extremely nice and helpful. We traveled with our dog,. The owners had snacks waiting for him upon arrival. Location is close to Lexington , Frankfort and Louisville. Highly recommend staying here.

A good central point for those interested in researching family history in the surrounding areas, especially the Kentucky History Society in Frankfort. Lovely home away from home with everything you would need and then some. Comfortable, quiet, spacious - also a good place for a writer or artist to seek their individual muse. Attentive hosts if you need something, privacy if you don't. Beautiful country and beautiful space.

We loved this stay. It is in a beautiful area just outside of town but still close enough for several short trips to local attractions. The heated bathroom floor was a nice bonus discovery also!
