The Cordelia

James and Rebecca have made our 3 night stay very safe and welcoming in difficult times. All Covid 19 measures were in place. The room was superbly furnished and the cleanliness impeccable. Breakfast has table service with multiple choices, all good quality ingredients well presented and deliciously cooked by James. Overall James and Rebecca made every effort to provide a memorable stay and I would definitely recommend The Cordelia.

The couple that own the hotel so very helpful and the food was great.

Greeted by James and Rebecca 2 lovely hosts who work so hard to makes this hotel as lovely as it is. The decor of the whole hotel is beautiful. Our room was perfect with good quality bedding and everything we could possibly need. Breakfast was so tasty especially the homemade lemon curd. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Superb throught highly recommended. Felt very pampered staying here Rebecca and Charles were super accomodating and nothing woukd have been too much trouble. Charming and tastefully decorated house and rooms and they have got everything right. Nice little touches everywhere. Very nice breakfast, Vegan was lovely! Definitely in my top 5 places I have stayed in in the uk.

Everything was excellent. James and Rebecca looked after us very well and had given a lot of thought and care to their Covid precautions

Outstanding communication with the owners who will do everything in their power to assist. Beautiful room (room 7), spotless, fabulous location and fabulous breakfast. Totally understand why it gets 10/10 on reviews!!

We loved our 2 night stay at The Cordelia. Room was tip top and lots of choice for breakfast. All Covid measures were in place and the hosts James & Rebecca were lovely. If we return to Scarborough we would stay at The Cordelia.again.

This is an amazing place to stay. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and clean. The breakfast was like a three course meal and absolutely lovely. Could not recommend enough.

This place and the hosts deserve 10/10. From the welcoming, to the quality of the room furnishings, towels, bathroom accessories, to the top class choice of breakfast. Everything really was first class. I have never given full marks before but there is absolutely nothing you could find fault with. Thank you!

I had to spend a couple of days in Scarborough visiting a sick relative, and needed a base. James was completely relaxed about my later than normal check-in, and gave me a quick guided tour when he realised I had to get to the hospital. Lovely room, which was perfectly large, despite being described as a "small double". Comfy bed, lots of storage, comfy chairs, and nice touches such as excellent chocolate biscuits! The bathroom was neat, with high quality fittings, and wonderfully luxurious towels. Even flannels were provided, although I would have preferred a box of tissues in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Well cooked and speedy. The only item shown on the menu is a full English breakfast, but James was happy to make other things on request. The entire property was decorated to a high standard, and was spotless. Highly recommended.
