Reserved a non smoking room, can smell heavy smoke coming out from the air vent, entire day and night. Furniture are very old and scuffs, bed is horribly old sod. VERY BERY DISAPPOINTED
Caesars Palace was fantastic as always when we stay there. The service and staff are great. However HOTELS.COM was incorrect with our reservation. It was for one night with one KING BED. Hotels.com did inform me that it would be an accessible room (walk in shower). We were fine with that. After a very long day of getting up at 3:30 AM, driving to Las Vegas, and working all day on a movie theater. Then going to the Caesars Palace for dinner and a good nights rest before driving back to Huntington Beach the next morning. When we arrived at the Hotel and checked in at 5:00 PM. They said our reservation was for an accessible room with walk in shower. OK, cool! We got to our room #862 in the Julius Tower. Only to find two Queen Beds. We exited the room, an went back down to the front desk with our luggage (long walk). We talked to the same person at the front desk. He informed us that it would be an extra cost to switch to a room with ONE KING BED. We said OK whatever we are tired. Now we walk to the Octavius Tower with our luggage and find a very nice room #6672 with ONE KING BED. Again Caesars Palace was great. We were not happy that Hotels.com was not aware that most of the accessible rooms at the rate we were quoted were with two queen beds, and that a room with one king bed would cost more. I would expect Hotels.com. to compensate us for the upcharge of the room and the inconvenience. Please get back to me for the cost of the upcharge. Thank you, R. Mike Ester
I asked for an upgrade, I paid for said penthouse upgrade, and the experience was not pleasing. First, the room smelled old and neglected; Second, I noticed stains on the drapes. Once I spoke with the management, they were able to clear it up and place me in another room. The 3rd night of my stay housekeeping never came, it took three phone requests and one face-to-face request to finally get housekeeping to turn the room around 6p on a Thursday. I had no towels to shower with and I had a conference event and a show to see that evening. The lack in service ruined my Thursday as I had to leave and come back to check on the room multiple times to discover each time services were not rendered on the room. All management/concierge would do each phone call and face-to-face conversation was say sorry housekeeping will be sent up immediately. This was not the service I was expecting at Caesars Palace.
We have stayed at Caesar’s palace multiple times and have had a pleasant experience. This stay was an extreme disappointment. We were put in the tower that is near the pool... BEWARE: this corridor to the elevator smells profoundly of human waste. It smells like something crawled into a dog’s butt and died. To quote AC/DC: it’s the hallway to Hell. I cannot express enough. It lasted the entirety of the stay. When we asked vendors in that hall they said it’s a regular occurrence and it’s the sewage system. We spoke to a manager who at first claimed he didn’t know what we were speaking of and then said “well there have been complaints”. He offered nothing as a way of expressing his understanding and apology... all we got from him was sass. A let down on your service end. Secondly... there was human hair all in the shower that was not ours upon check-in. We hoped it would be cleaned by House Keeping the next day but when we returned it was still there. (Picture attached). A total let down. I get you cannot expect Four Seasons service at a Vegas hotel... but this was the first true let down and it nearly tarnished the fun of our little getaway.
We arrived early and I informed them we would arrive early. I used the Kiosk which told me that my room would not be available until 4 and that it would email me when the room was ready. I tried the Kiosk again around 3, which told me the same. I went to a human at the counter who then told me "of course your room is ready'. Do not bother with the Kiosk. My bathroom door was chipped and there were lipstick prints and fingerprints all over the bathroom (stamped from makeup?). I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Also, you do not get coffee included with the room. I was greatly disappointed that they wanted to charge for a cup of coffee. If you stay here, bring your own Keurig cup, otherwise you will $$$ for coffee. The front desk Daniel was extremely helpful and friendly. This is a great location in Las Vegas. Just know that you will be charged an outrageous resort fee (but no coffee in the room/dirty room). Also, the pool was closed. We could not utilize the pool area at all, despite all of the other hotels with their open pools.
