A great get away from life love it here amazing room

The entire staff from valet, front desk, house keeping, and food / beverage severs delivered top notch service - especially admirable amidst a pandemic. The only issue was that there was remodel construction work on the roof deck during the entire stay that consisted of constant hammering / demo noise while trying to enjoy the pool area.

I have stayed at Petit Ermitage numerous times over the years. I understand that now is unprecedented times, however standards were below par. From the first day I checked in, toiletries were not replaced, room service plates and bowls took days to be taken away and orders took overly long. We adhered to the protocol of facemasks not letting outside guests in, but it was notable that this was not the case by others.

We LOVE the Petit Ermitage!!! It has just the right amount of sultry to a weekend getaway. When we arrived in our room, the lights were set at the perfect level where it felt inviting, like we were slipping into a wonderful weekend getaway. The rooftop pool is both salt-water and heated!! Even in January we went ahead and went in for a dip, it was SO nice! All of the staff, ad the general vibe of the place makes you feel like you are someplace around the corner from the Moulin Rouge in Paris... it was our second time and we can't wait to go back!

Because of travel delays, we arrived to this quirky hotel after 3 am. The lobby details were adorable, but we didn't get to really appreciate them. Except the quaaludes - thanks for the quaaludes. The rooms are interesting. In several notable ways. This hotel was clearly, recently, not a hotel. It seems it was an apartment building from the 80's, and one can still feel that in the bones. The doors are the ones you had at your first apartment out of college. The windows overlook a yard that's not finished. The faucets and other fittings didn't get renovation focus. This is worth noting, because every other detail delights. So the slightly less delightful goes first. An elephant riding a bicycle. Exquisite premixed individual cocktails in bottles. Delicious, unique snacks. Lovely trimmings, the whole place. Quiet. Surprisingly quiet. A big bed, where we slept well and deep. Brunch on the fantastic roof, thoughtful, quiet, charming, delicious; an urban oasis. And, while we didn't swim, we dipped our feet in and the saltwater pool that was warmed to perfect temperatures. The whole place is a bold move. The aesthetic is circus meets burning man meets deco sensibilities. All things I love; I hope enough other people love it, too!
