Courtyard by Marriott St Louis Westport Plaza

I missed out on the breakfast options due to Covid restrictions, however, I would certainly lodge at this Courtyard again. The policy of not performing linen change and room cleaning unless I stayed for several days should be reconsidered.

Disappointed the pool was closed

From the super comfy beds to the front desk staff who remembered our names, this was among the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Due to the pandemic, the swimming pool and the bar/restaurant were closed, and while the hotel still provided a breakfast, it was disappointing with few choices and mostly prepackaged (Hostess, Pillsbury, etc) items. Kind of like eating breakfast at a convenience store. Even if there was no breakfast at all, I will absolutely stay at this hotel again.

PERFECT!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here Thursday night, and the hotel was exactly what we expected. I had read the reviews for it beforehand, so I was prepared for there to be hair on the towels. There was, in fact, one small hair on one of our towels. No biggie. Just didn’t use that towel. We only had one other small annoyance, and that was the smoke detector above the bed. It does the normal flashing, however with it being above the bed I kept waking up in the night wondering where the flashing light was coming from. Again, not a big deal. Just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean. The front desk clerks were prompt and kind. There was also a nice complimentary grab and go breakfast that we enjoyed. For the price, it was a REALLY good pick. I’m glad it worked out, and I hope you enjoy your stay too!

Great stay and perfect check in

Room was really clean. I love that they have the large dispensers of shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the showers now - less plastic waste! TV was nice to be able to add Netflix etc. Loved that we could step right outside and enjoy the courtyard. Staff were all accommodating and friendly. I was nervous about traveling with all the COVID restrictions but I felt safe and like they were taking precautions - they were not letting guests enter that did not have masks on - which we greatly appreciated. Plus, being from out of town we called the front desk asking about which places to eat were open and which still allowed dine-in - she not only told us but gave us directions to all the places we were interested in.

The night manager didn't wear a mask and was extremely rude. The room I got smell horrible and wasn't clean. there was still other people's belongs in the room and the sheets were dirty. To be honest I would have had a better experience sleeping in my car. The worst experience hands down I have ever had from a hotel. i wish I could get my money back it was that bad. Oh and they take $100 dollars for incidents. Then when I call them they say that they don't have access to do anything that its Marriot corporate. When I call my bank they say I need to talk to the merchant and when I talk to Marriot they say to call my bank. I don't know about you, I just don't have an extra 100 to be thrown around especially this year. I wish they would return my money. all of it even for the room stay soo freaking ridiculous

The front desk staff was very efficient and accommodating. The ease of entering/exiting the room to my car. Safety of the building and Covid restrictions were excellent.

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
