Conturce Hostel

I choose this hostel because of the proximity to the beach. I called the hostel ahead of time to make sure that someone will be there to check me in since I was going to arrive around 9pm. The person who answered the phone told me that he was going to text me the code to get in and left my keys in the reception desk. The keys where there in a paper with my name without instructions about where to find my room, so I have to walk around till I found the room on the second floor. Note that according to the website they have employees till 11pm. When I went to put my belongings in my locker. There were other person stuff there and since they don't have any employees on the hostel I have to sleep with my belongings next to me on the side of the bed. I make a reservation for a 6 beds room and they were 8. Not social distancing at all. Plus just one bathroom inside the room for the 8 of us. The only good things about the hostel are the location and it really looks like the pictures. After that, customer service is not so great. I left after the first night because of that.

It’s a hostel on a busy street. Lots of noise outside and lots of noise inside too. Don’t expect to sleep before 2am. Honestly, I’m not that familiar with hostels, but this place listed itself as a hotel on several sites, which it is not. For the money, find a real hotel or an air b&b apartment. If it was like $20-$30 a night, it might be worth it.

Conturce is a great place to stay. You get to meet new people, the place was clean and disinfected, equipped with everything you need for a quick stay. Joseph did everything to make my stay a great one. I really appreciate him for guiding me around the city.

Great place to spend the night. The people that were staying there were a lot of fun. The staff is friendly and willing to help you get around. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend them!

The hostel was immaculate and the room was amazing with a great view. The bathroom was very clean and the bed was super comfortable My only concern was the customer service. When I arrived a code was required to enter through the main gate which I did not have. I called out several times for assistance and even the phone number and no response. After 10 minutes guest was walking by and allowed inside. There was no one at the front desk and didn’t know how I was going to get my room key. The same guest that allowed in asked form my name and laying there on the desk was a makeshift envelope with ma name and room key. The entire evening I was there I didn’t not see anyone at the small front desk. Make sure you call prior to your arrival so you have all the details on how to access your room.
