Overall, it was great. Great location, pool with hot tub. The breakfast is not a full restaurant, but the food was great.
The only blemish was the phone call from the manager accusing us of taking the chilled milk pitcher from the breakfast area. Every time I explained it wasn't us, he said something that implied I was lying. Why? Because it was on video. At one point, he said I was wearing a blue shirt. ... No, I said a grey shirt.
This is the problem; to him, the video proof was absolute proof of our guilt. There was no other circumstance that could explain what he was seeing.
This is wrong. Just as he got the colour of my shirt wrong, the stainless steel thermos my wife carried was what he saw.
I was a computer draftsman for over thirty years, and I can tell you that what is seen on a screen of any kind is not necessarily the truth.
Did he apologize? Yes. Was it enough? No.
