Downtown flagstaff motel 8
Great location and very friendly front desk staff. Room extremely clean and had microwave and fridge. Coffee maker and liquid shampoo and body wash in shower. Bed unfortunately has poor cushion but king size. Spacious room. Indoor pool and hot tub but we didn't partake. Nice dog area. Quiet. Free continental breakfast. We will definitely stay again.

The check in process with Kayla was great. She was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good with auto pancake maker, cereals, oatmeal, toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, honey buns, coffee, tea, tangerines and orange juice, The room was clean and comfortable beds. Heated Indoor pool and spa was nice after a ski day. Great location.

Very Nice Motel but…
Checkin was easy, breakfast was good, very clean, and the staff was great and very responsive… our tv remote wasn’t working in our room and they quickly came and replaced it. However, we were staying in 2 rooms and both TVs we had the volume up as high as could go and still could barely hear the TV. Also, the heater/AC unit is quite loud which made it very difficult to sleep as I’d wake up every time it came on.

The soundproofing in this hotel was non-existent. We were able to hear people coming and going all night, even with earplugs. There was constant noise between 11:00 PM and 3:30 AM. Additionally the room would shake when someone in a nearby room was walking around inside their own room. The room took 4-5 hours to heat up to a comfortable temperature. We were pretty disappointed in our stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone that’s looking to get a restful night of sleep. It was walking distance to downtown which was the only positive part of our experience.

Great staff, good location!
The team was wonderful upon check-in. I asked about the pool hours and about towels and they not only answered my question but, went above expectations by offering to double check the towels and restock, if needed, since they knew I’d be going to the pool area. When I arrived in the pool area, the towels were empty BUT, true to her word, she restocked the towels before I needed to get out. Room was simple, clean, and comfortable.

We arrive late off the train and the room was ready for us. Simple check in and then went to the room. It was very clean and ready. However, the AC unit kept coming on and off all night long and it’s very noisy and a good night sleep was not possible for me. However, my wife slept very well. We had had a 26 1/2 hour train ride from Kansas and extremely tired. In addition, I went up to the front desk to see if they had any water for sale? And I was told they do not and that they had a water fountain that you could get a couple water with. Seems that they should have had at least bottled water for sale.

1 fix from greatness
Simple and clean with nice small down pillows. The beds need upgrading/support- (think swayback horse), and the place would be great. One hinderance was that the bathroom smelled like the previous occupant smoked marajuana, but not their fault. Overall an inexpensive and clean stay, would stay again.

Showers need help
Everything in the room was great clean ready to move in and sleep. We are only overnight one night as we were taking the Amtrak to Kansas the next day. If I had a suggestion, it would be to put shut off valves on the handheld shower units in the disability rooms because with both showerheads on there’s no water pressure
