GDH Hotel Hong Kong

I had stayed at this property a year back and it was an amazing experience but this time around the experience was not that good. 1.The internet was very slow and started working properly only after I asked them to check and they reset the router. 2.There was a mandatory Govt power supply shutdown due to which the elevators stopped working and there was only one light in the room that was working. I couldnt charge my phone, the fridge wasn't working, bathroom lights werent working. I feel the property should have informed all the guests at the time of making the reservation rather than informing them after the CHECKIN (when they had no other option). 3.The complimentary bottles of water were not replaced every day and were put only after complaining.

Hotel was a little dated, but VERY clean and perfect for the few nights we stayed there. They provided water, tea and coffee, slippers and clean towels every day. Location was perfect, very central to everything in Kowloon and only 10 minute walk from the main pier. Didn't realize this till checkout, but hotel has 2 nice restaurants in it and a small shop in the lobby. Price wasn't bad, especially since we booked hotel the night of our stay (our other hotel was a dud and this was closest). Will consider if I make it back to HK. Thanks!

Poor service and dirty room. Good location and room is good size for hong kong
