Beach Quarters by Diamond Resorts

Trip was decent. Upon arrival neighbors on our floor complained of being loud while in the hallway as we arrived around 830pm. Was told that if complaint continued we would be asked to leave. Was not aware that your unable to have kids and talk talk in halls at a property listed as a resort. The hotel policy is no smoking and the foyer/hall smelled of weed and so did our room. Checked out early the night before around 1045pm due to the smell of weed from the next room. Hotel needs to monitor their rooms better due to smoking. Other than those issues stay was decent.

Stayed at cheaper places that were worth more

When I first arrived before even looking at my reservation confirmation number the front desk lady says “we don’t allow partying on the premises” I was like that’s weird but okay I have a reservation for two rooms I tried to hand her the paper with my confirmation number and she doesn’t take it and looks up my name and say no you only have it for one room. I told her it’s definitely for two rooms and they are already paid for she said no I don’t see any payment here Expedia charges you but we didn’t I was like I didn’t even use Expedia to book what are u talking about again I tried to show her my confirmation number and reservation information and she didn’t want it finally she finds that it is two rooms but then says your name isn’t on the card used to pay so do you have another one with your name because without it you can’t get the room. I said it is my husbands card what do you mean we typically do that when we travel we pay with his card reservation in my name it has never been a problem anywhere else. She said that’s weird that’s the policy everywhere and she kept refusing until I got my husband to come in to be added to the reservation to get the two rooms which were not even on the same floor or even close to each other. Then we get in the room to find it freezing and the heat was so loud it was impossible to get any sleep every time we started to drift off it woke us right back up. The water in the shower wasn’t even remotely warm. Will not be returning!

Our room was never cleaned and we never got clean towels or more toilet paper for the room. Everyone was very friendly. We communicated that we wanted the room cleaned and needed towels, but nobody came.

Pay a lil extra to stay somewhere better

Considering there’s a extremely high hold for a one night stay I would expect the property to be in better condition. The room was clean but everything was old. It looks like they tried to make it look nicer by painting the tables to hide chips and the sofa and rugs could use a good cleaning. . The hallways are open to the outside so walking to the elevator was frigid. The linen was clean but the sofa looked dinghy. I wont stay here again

Room was a nice size. Huge bathtub. Comfortable beds. Room had water pipe issues that woke us up anytime someone else turned water on. Made a very loud noise.

Definitely will come back,nice sunrise view and relaxing sunset. Walk to near by places, plus right front of the beach.

Rooms were a little run down but you get what you pay for. We drove a Silverado to the parking garage but had to back out as the turns were too tight for the truck. But there was alternative parking across the street.

Waste of money, no amenities

Terrible hotel. The front desk lies about everything. When I called to make reservations, I specifically asked about the amenities. They assured me “everything but the outdoor pool is open.” When I checked in, they said the exact same thing. So when I went to the sauna room, nothing was open except for the fitness area. Downstairs the indoor pool was open but not the hot tub. So why lie about the amenities if they’re not available? To make things worse, the indoor pool was frigid. When asked if he could at least adjust the room temperature, the maintenance man acted as if he couldn’t even adjust the thermostat. The bathtub in my room had a broken stopper. The carpet was old and needed to be replaced. I ran into a couple who asked the maintenance man to clean their floor (looked like there was some body fluid on the floor) and they were told they could clean it themselves. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told by the front desk someone would call me by 9. So at a quarter to 9, I got out of the pool to wait for my phone call. It wasn’t until I checked out at 10 that I finally got to talk to a manager because they also charge a deposit, which is not in the fine print as they claim. I will say the manager was attentive but I have yet to hear back from them. Next time I’ll definitely go somewhere else unless I’m absolutely in a pinch!
