Tivoli Lagos

This is a fantastic hotel with really friendly and professional staff. We always stay here and absolutely love it. Unfortunately this year due to covid changes we had a couple of issues. Firstly the breakfast buffet now is served by the team which meant we had to queue for each section. Queues for tea/coffee then queues for breakfast meant the drinks or breakfast went cold. We chose to take our breakfast away from the hotel due to this. Perhaps a limited menu served at table or even just having drinks served to the table could help. The second issue was tea/coffee in the room where after 2 days of requesting cups and milk it arrived but then got missed again, I chose to wash out the paper cups given and pick up teabags and milk from the shop instead of keep chasing the staff. I will repeat however that this is the first time in 4 years we’ve had any issues at this hotel and i’m certain it’s due to covid changes and the hotel getting used to the new ways of working.

We came for a quick getaway and this hotel was PERFECT! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Lagos.

Under the influence of this wretched COVID-19 virus, the hotel staff were brilliant. They were very conscious and sensible about the usage of masks and the continuation of cleaning and sanitisation. The breakfast and dinner service were both well run and offered a great menu choice. The bar service was good and the prices were reasonable. The free bus service to Duna beach, along with the free sunbeds, was much appreciated. I would recommend this hotel. The staff are both polite and very helpful.

This hotel is not prepared to reopen after Covid-19. They charged extra for everything because they are suffering, including coffee for the coffee machine in our room (if you want more than 1 capsule), robes, 5 euros to use a plate of theirs. Just insane charges. Totally understand that hotels have been hit hard, we actually chose this specifically to bring them some business because it was so empty. Such a shame the service and standards are so rubbish because the building is beautiful. Breakfast only bread and eggs - which I understand they don’t want to open breakfast up. But should just have a discount and no breakfast included. Fridge flooded the room - just lots of problems handled badly.

The staff are amazing and have pulled out all the stops during the difficult times. We would love to go back and experience the hotel in full flow.

Friendly staff. Well positioned in Lagos. Large room with good facilities and a nice view towards the pool.

Good location in the city but the room was tiny and very isolated and very far for seniors while for the high price, they could have given a more decent room. The fridge was full of the hotel overpriced items. No space to pjt my drinks or fruits

For being rated a 4-star hotel, the price was very affordable and reasonable. The hotel is located in a great neighborhood with restaurants and shopping and is also located near the ocean where you can hop on a boat or kayak to explore the caves in Lagos. Room was huge with a balcony, fridge, desk, and large bathroom. Breakfast buffet was great with many options: fruits, croissants, cereal, eggs, meats, cheeses, pancakes, waffles, and hot and cold beverages.
