Hotel On Rivington

Super comfortable and clean hotel, with nice modern touches. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and the location is one of our favorites in the city for great local food and shopping. Will no doubt be staying here again!

View, location perfect. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms a bit run down. Our outside door to the balcony wouldn’t close, white curtains a little dingy, and the shower window to the exterior view had a huge crack. Great concept needs a touching up.

Everyone from front desk, to housekeeping to the restaurant was extremely good at their job. Original. Close to a lot of sights in New York.

It was an amazing evening my wife and I celebrated our 5 yr anniversary. And it was a great getaway for the evening. It was cozy and the staff was very welcoming. Just a few minor things I would have liked would be softer towels, mouthwash or tooth paste because I forgot mine and left the hotel and forgot to pick some up. It’s a great location it had a movie theater close by so we just winged our date night and ended up there! We would definitely rebook this hotel!!

The room was spacious and decorated in a very hip way. Loved the outdoor space.

I did not get the room I paid for and was promised. One my first night, I found a roach in the bathroom and the only thing they could say was that it could’ve come from the streets. No apologies No sympathy no nothing.

Hotel was not up to par. Toilet was constantly running, bathroom falling apart, I tried to take a bath in the soaking tub and found the dirty tub to be making the water murky and sudsy.

I want to say that Before even getting to the Hotel I was Really excited and couldn't wait to see the room and the view, I read a lot of reviews online and I saw nothing negative about the hotel at all, all the more I wanted to stay at the Rivington. I am Getting to my room I settle in and Decided I wanted to change my clothing and all of a sudden someone opens my door and was offering me cookies!!! It startled me and scared me It was an older lady Im assuming room service cause she had a name tag! First of all why would anyone let themselves in the room They are supposed to knock first! I complaint about in the lobby and what the guy said to me was Ohh its okay shes the coolie lady she goes and asks if any one wants cookie after I explained my self of How she just barged in and I am in the middle of changing!! Also The bed sheets had hairs all over all size if hairs which really Grossed me out! The Telephone in the room was not working had no dial tone I called The lobby was again to complain and The guy was asking me If I pressed the Outside line button, Of course I did I know How to work a phone. When It was time to go to sleep The Heater was not working properly I tried to Adjust the heat My self and it kept dropping back to 60 and This was a very particular cold day! Overall I was Disappointed I will not be staying here again.
