Comfort Inn Kalamazoo

When we came into down we missed our turn and passed the hotel. I seen homeless people standing right across the hotel at the stop light holding up signs for money. We wanted to stay in walking distance to downtown. We came to town to do go to a venue at the state theatre. The next morning when I came outside to the car I seen about five needles thrown under my car. I did let someone know and she acted like they were familiar with the situation. I was very disappointed to here that the front parking lot wasn’t under any surveillance. When I booked our two night stay, I was under the assumption it was non refundable or I would have cancelled the 2nd and went somewhere else. I didn’t feel safe and will not stay there again.

Absolute Ghetto Dump. DO NOT STAY HERE. Ceiling falling in in the BR. Rude and unreasonable staff. Avoid at all cost.

Overall, my family and I enjoyed our comfort inn stay. The hotel was clean, in good repair, staff friendly and attentive enough. On the second day, we went down for the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast room said closed an hour and a half before breakfast should have ended. There was no call to say " Sorry for the inconvenience, we have a water leak." True customer service would've been getting a cart in the lobby with coffee, yogurt and fruit for customers. We purposely chose a hotel with breakfast to budget for our trip. Please work on providing excellent customer service Kalamazoo Comfort Inn.

The floors were filthy. This place desperately needs new carpet. Other than that, our stay was fine.
