We want to let you know that we take your health very seriously and are doing everything that we can to ensure each and every home we mange is as clean and safe as it possibly can be for you when you come to stay with us. Along with Hostē’s detailed and rigorous standard cleaning practices we’ve added more steps to ensure that high volume surfaces get extra cleaning with antibacterial products. Along with washing their hands before entering, and upon entering the home our team members ALWAYS wear gloves when in the homes and if anyone is showing signs of being unwell, we’ve asked them not to come to work. We also have all our linens and towels professionally laundered where they are sanitized and then wrapped before being transported to the home. We are paying close attention to recommendations put forth by the CDC and implementing additional precautions as they are recommended if necessary. We know that this is a scary time for everyone, and we want you to know that we are here for you. Now about the property:
Fancy a stay? We have a good one. It's located on one of the coolest blocks of Colorado Springs—where trendy new restaurants with award-winning menus are popping up all over the place. There are cafes and breweries, even an escape room almost next door. If you expand your sphere from (2) blocks to (4), the possibilities are endless. Our place—it's pretty nice too. A single unit out of four in the building, it's nonetheless been designed for travelers and guests. Practical. Affordable. Oh, and we're dog-friendly too. Perfect!

The Space:
It makes a lot of sense, this place. Possessing everything you need, and nothing you don't; it's offered at a great price. And with it's traveler-centric design, it's colors, it's appeal—there's real VALUE here. Enter through the front door of the building after parking on the street (there's always plenty). You'll go down the stairs to this basement level unit, and open the door into a bright, cheerful, comfortable space. The unit is simple—a single great-room comprising the living room and kitchen, with the single bedroom and bath off to the side. There's plenty of natural light although it is a basement unit. The layout is both practical and more spacious than you might imagine. The kitchen's fully functional—ready for your culinary creations. And the living room—we invite you to relax, to lie back, to sit, to enjoy. The single bedroom features a comfortable queen bed appointed with quality bedding and linens, professionally laundered. The single bath is clean and bright, with subway tile and the same practical sensibility displayed throughout this apartment. An additional twin roll away bed is available in the living room closet. The theme here is meaningful—a vacation rental at its roots. A comfortable place to stay in an exceptional, energetic, urban location—a place to stay and rest while you contemplate the next day's adventures. The Neighborhood:
Located just south of Downtown, this neighborhood presents established homes, many from the turn of the 20th century, in the process of transition. Some parts are gorgeous, others are rougher around the edges, but what is UNEQUIVOCAL is the energy of this neighborhood. Some of the finest, trendiest dining establishments in Colorado Springs are just a block or two away. Be sure to check out Shuga's for a wholly authentic, bohemian-chic. Streetcar 520, Dos Santos, Coquettes are all award-winning restaurants. There are cafes (The Exchange), breweries (Gold Camp Brewing Company), old-school-cool Italian places (Luigis) and plenty of additional opportunities if you're willing to walk 4 or 5 blocks, instead of 2! All of the more well-known Colorado Springs attractions, places like Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, the Broadmoor, the Air Force Academy—are easily accessible, and some just minutes away from the main roads and the Interstate right down the road. Exceptional urban appeal. Easy access. Handsome, welcoming and practical environs—you'll love it!

Getting Around:
Although there are exceptional entertainment, dining and recreational opportunities within walking distance to this vacation rental, we still recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($50/dog/week) with restrictions: 2 dogs max; 55 lbs or less; no aggressive dogs: Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, German Shepherds and Great Danes;
* No pets other than dogs allowed - we are sorry!;
* No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors;
* Garbage bins are located in the back alley. Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you!
* An additional twin roll away bed is available in the living room closet.
* White Honeywell Thermostat = Baseboard heating is a backup only. It's very inefficient and dry heat. Please leave at 55 degrees.
* The Heat/AC temperature is controlled off of the Mini Split on the living room wall. USE THE REMOTE + WALL UNIT
