Again, another where the photos are misleading as the rooms are dated, and the entire hotel needs a good lick of paint.
We had an email code to access the building. There was absolutely no atmosphere and we felt like we were completely alone in this huge building. The booking stated a mountain view, which we had, if you looked over the air handling units. Our "balcony"was a thick gravelled area on the roof.
We decided to walk to a nearby restaurant, and found that literally everything nearby was closed. We arrived Saturday and discovered that even the local spa shop closed at 6pm. It was like a ghost town.
Granted, it was absolutely beautiful, but we had to get back on our motorbikes, ride to a petrol station and stock up on bits for a picnic on the patio. We make the best of things, and will learn from this, but for that we paid, it was a bit rubbish.
Breakfast was good, coffee was excellent but I wouldn't recommend staying there.
