Aparthotel Alcudia Garden

Overall we had a great time in Mallorca and didn't find this hotel to be bad, but don't expect a palace! It was a bit tired, cleanliness could be improved, and the food left a lot to be desired. We were there with two kids ages 9 and 12. Had really lovely interactions with the reception staff, they were great. We had a poolside room with a lovely view. Beds were fine but the sofa beds were not. Firstly they were made up from the previous guests with used sheets etc. We needed one bed, housekeeping made up that one but left the other dirty bed. The blankets did not seem washed, they were stinky, and the sofa beds were old and hard. As such we ended up sleeping with three in the one bed in the bedroom. Thankfully even though there were a few activities on, we didn't find the rooms to be too loud. The outdoors at the hotel are nice and the location to the beach is really easy - 2 min walk and you're there. Also is close to the town center so easy to reach everything. Indoor pool and sauna facilities aren't great. Pool is small, hot tub is not really hot and we couldn't tell if it was cleaned etc and staff did not monitor the pool so there were often teenagers in there being rowdy and the edges of the pool were dirty. It wasn't warm enough to swim outdoors so we ended up going to another hotel and bought day passes to swim there. Food...we had half board and if we were to go back we wouldn't do a package with food. Found many things to be inedible and not fresh.

It was clean welcoming and the staff were polite. There were no negatives.

Good - bus stops nearby, as is fery port; superb selection and quality at breakfast; close to beach NOT SO GOOD - No route from rooms to dining room without going out into the cold and rain! - On departure day I asked for a wake up cal at 6.30 but it came at 5.30! - Reception ordered a taxi to take me to the ferry port but it didn't turn up; BUT one of the staff took me in his own car in the end - You are partly paying for entertainment and activities, so not good value if you simply want bed and food.

Lovely staff very friendly and hospitable, nice spacious hotel, lovely food and facilities, wish they had tea,coffee, kettle in the rooms.

very good holiday made very welcome at the apart hotel ,did not like paying the tourist tax .we will come back next year if they don't increase the tax thank you

Stayed for 4 nights. Love the grounds, the rooms were spotless and the food selection had something for everyone

The hotel was lovely at first glance. However once in the room you realise the walls are made of paper, you can hear conversations all around you. The corridor is echoey as hell and people seem to have no respect and shout down the corridor at all hours. The hotel is cleaned every other day which is fine in terms of being environmentally friendly. And the reception is very accommodating if you need more towels for the pool etc. Our tap was leaking in the kitchen and took 2 days to fix- not great as it is an Aparthotel and we could not clean dishes etc as all the water would end up on the floor. Given that we were visiting in Feb-March the pool and jacuzzi were freezing most of the days we were then. When we brought this to the receptions attention nothing seemed to be done. They were also filthy. Overall it was an ok stay. I imagine that in the summer the experience is better. Location is great for cycling and is a short walk to the centre of the port.

This hotel is by far the best 3 star I have been to. From the front desk, The staff were professional, yet friendly and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was exactly the same in the restaurant. Really spot on staff, and the food was right up there with the 4 & 5 stars. I must say that the cleanliness in all areas was excellent, and the cleaning staff were always very pleasant. Even when My Wife took sick, and We had to fly back to the UK, Everybody made things as painless as possible. We will definitely be back to "finish Our holiday off".
