This was an old school travel lodge. It was a short walk to downtown New Hope (less than a mile). The room was not surprisingly large and balcony was a bonus. Coffee and light snacks were available in the office for breakfast.

Dirty Room!
The room was worn and outdated, but that could have been charming. Unfortunately the room was rather dirty. Dust on all the fixtures, and in all the corners. Dirt and dust in all the drawers, and caked onto the picture frames. A clear lack of attention. It also smelled really musty. The only reason we stayed was because the bed was comfy and the sheets seamed clean. The shower head in the bathroom was chest height and too narrow of a stall to get under it. We also found a half eaten Wawa sub in the mini fridge and a yellow old toe nail clipping in one of the drawers. It was foul. When we checked in the bath towels had fallen on the floor from the towel rack and already collected clumps of dust just from touching the floor. Told the front desk and no apology, he just asked me to grab some of my own towels from a cabinet and take what I needed. Would not return. We found the property charming and rustic at first and tried to look past some of this, but too many gross things were found to look past it.

Very cozy, log cabin vibes. Beds were comfortable not to hard. The windows opened which let in the crisp autumn air. Great lighting and plenty of mirrors as two women it was very easy to get ready at the same time

Wonderful front desk clerk who checked us in! Traffic noise in 344 is rough, though.

New hope charm
What a great place. It was a little dated but it adds to the charm. It was quiet, I felt so comfortable and relaxed here and the pool was excellent on a hot day. I will come back with extended family. It’s a place you want to stay at.

Major regrets
Check in day and that night was fine. It is a very cute lodge. The second day we did not get maid service and immediately outside our room starting in late afternoon was a drag queen gay party and the DJ was spewing sexual filth and foul language. We packed up and left despite having paid for another night. When I told the office personnel why we were leaving, he was kind and offered a room away from the event and said this was a planned celebration. I think we should have been told prior to check in and I think we deserve a refund.

Cost. We travel frequently and found the cost exceeded the s/ambiance of the property. Noted very few other guests

It was old and dingy. The door was broke and door frame was cracked. Door would not stay shut and it was unsafe. It was dirty and had no towels or tissues. It was extremely hot out and the room had this little dingy airconditioner in the wall. Also we paid allot for this horrible room. If I had somewhere else to go we would have left.

Nice room, freindly staff. Shower was small and the stains on the mattress showed through the sheets. Otherwise, nice stay.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The premise was so cute. Reminiscent of a summer camp but maybe for adults..?? But it’s so a good place to stay for families. Also, it’s located about 7 mins from Peddler’s Village. I’m coming back around Christmas.
