We were excited about our stay at the beach for CCMF. I had reserved a 2 bedroom which show pics looking out to the ocean. This was not the case. It was as far away from the beach and closest to the road as that’s where 2 bedrooms are located. Luckily we were able to move to a one bedroom with sofa over looking the ocean and it made all the difference in our stay. It was very entertaining looking out onto the beach instead of parking lot and a run down area. Although the property is older it is well kept. Definitely pride of ownership.
Plenty of restaurants in the area. We thought we could walk to the boardwalk but it was quite the distance. Although we felt safe it was a run down area.
We chose to stay an extra night but had to move to a different unit. In doing so I left items in the drawer of the bathroom. Unfortunately there is not office staff beyond 9-5 and it’s hard to be in touch with them. I’ve emailed and left messages but no return communication. As I left Tips for them out of gratitude, I would think that I would get returned communication.
It was nice to have a place for extended days to feel roomy and comfortable. It was great to have pool and beach in a quiet building. It is a small property amongst other properties that are right on top of each other.
