Had a lovely stay. Yes, some of the decor looks tired but it is a very old hotel with lots of character.
I booked 3 rooms and we had the smallest bed, but it was very comfortable.
We had a drink in the "Whine bar" which is small and busy in the evening and also breakfast, which was one of the nicest, self serve, breakfasts I've ever had.
All the staff were attentive and friendly but the lady on reception and the lady on at breakfast, were especially lovely.
Just one thing to remember, if you use the lift, please shut the metal gate and door when you get out as it cannot be called/used from another floor, if not.
