Enjoyed our stay, even with the construction going on it went smoothly. Enjoyed the indoor heated pol & breakfast. We stayed because our daughter had an appt at Cooks the next morning & it was like a 5 minute drive so we will be staying here again.

CONSTRUCTION!!!! I wish I had known prior to my stay. Chemical fumes in hallway and in room. Room very dusty...what upset me the most is the letter left in room clearly states contrition hours. I called because it was well after hours stayed with hammering, drilling and loud voices...said it would stop in 10 min...called back 45 minute later because it was still going on...now 2 hrs past time stated.

Short sheeted and all...
The beds were short sheeted on the covers, a good 1/3 was stuffed under the end of the mattress. Both beds. The littles went to sleep easily. When I was finally able to crawl in bed next to them, I was stuck in a nightmare. The kids were happy but I fought with them all night for covers.... ...because the covers were stuffed under the end of the bed and NO ONE REALIZED it until the next morning when I tried to catch a few winks before a busy day off cattle herding the kids. I found the top of the covers would not even reach my shoulders. What kind of sick housekeeping prank is this maddness!!?? Not that the hotel cared, they said "sorry" and offered no compensation and refused a discount when my agent contacted them. Won't bitch about the location or cleanliness, but I DON'T believe customer satisfaction is a big deal there.

Good service but some rooms not acceptable.
The front desk staff was wonderful and offered relevant information and helped with issues. The condition and cleanliness of my initial room not acceptable. Maybe some rooms should not be used if they are not in good working order or have too many stains, etc. Certainly there needed to be a second set of eyes prior to renting out the room I was given. Breakfast and Room rate was good and the front desk was very responsive and caring about the issue.
