The Penz Hotel

Parking is available right beneath the hotel with an elevator up to the floors. This Penz Hotel is located close to Altstadt and many great restaurants. The staff is very helpful and friendly! Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed! We are very pleased with our stay here.

effective hotel city centre

They had some problems with the draining system but after a complaint about Smell the problem was solved. Excellent breakfast

Great if you have time to eat a big breakfast

We had some issues with sewage smell in the bathroom but it was quickly fixed by the hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet which is open till 11 so perfect when you have kids with you on the trip

Romantic Weekend.

This place was truly spectacular. Great room, very clean. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, even in the Bar areas, always so courteous. If I return to Innsbruck I will stay here for certain!

The location of this property is very convenient to the train station, public transportation and sightseeing locations. However, as a value to cost, I was not impressed. Granted we stayed at the hotel during New Years so th he cost was probably higher thsn usual. The rooms are extremely small and they have placed a smaller than luxury bed in the room to make the room seem larger. The mini bar comes stocked with beer, wine, water and soda but I didn't check the prices or use anything. The fridge barely cooled anything. The thermostat in the room was hard to adjust to make the room comfortable so we actually slept with the window cracked open. The bathroom is also quite small. Our room had a tub/shower combo with good water pressure but the water temperature would fluctuate. Breakfast was served each morning, and yes like other reviewers have mentioned, there is a large selection of fruits and jams. There were also hot selections, yogurts, granola, breads, and pastries. Food was constantly teplenished but the servers almost seemed in the way. It took quite awhile to get a coffee, and although the presentation was pretty, it was almost flavorless. The breakfast was good but I was not completely wowed! The view from the breakfast area is pretty but I did not feel welcome by the almost brusk manner of the staff.

Great stay

Rooms were comfortable and contemporary. Excellent location close to Old Town. Bar was good. Hot breakfast items could be improved, but overall a wonderful spread. I would definitely recommend this hotel. So far it’s our favorite hotel 5 days into a 16 day trip (all have been 4-5 stars). Lovely town.

Great central location. Attractive building. Nice staff. Big breakfast room with views. But had to ask twice for pillows. Rooftop bar open air terrace needs covered heating areas for smoking as sadly cigar bar closed down (which was highlight of this hotel ).
