Refundable deposits

• Breakage deposit: COP 100000 per stay

Mandatory fees

• You may be required to pay the following charge at the property: Colombia Value-Added Tax (VAT) at 19%. A VAT exemption is available to travelers who present a valid passport and tourist visa showing they are not a resident of Colombia and who pay using a foreign card or via a bank transfer from outside Colombia. This exemption applies only to tourist package bookings (accommodation plus other travel services).

• Cleaning fee: COP 60000 per accommodation, per stay (varies based on length of stay)

Optional extras

• Credit card charges are subject to an extra charge of 7 percent
• Housekeeping is offered for an extra charge of COP 50000 per stay
• Towels are available for an extra charge of COP 50000 per person, per stay (or guests may bring their own)

Renovations and closures

Children & extra beds

• If you are traveling with a child, your property may require you to present the following documents: Parents traveling into Colombia with a child under 18 may be required to present the child's birth certificate and photo ID (passport for non-Columbian citizens) upon check-in. If a relative or legal guardian is traveling into Colombia with the child, that relative or legal guardian may be required to present a notarized consent of travel signed by both parents and a copy of both parents' ID. If only one parent is traveling into Colombia with the child, that parent may be required to present a notarized consent of travel signed by the other parent. Visitors who plan to travel with children should consult with a Colombian consulate office prior to travel for further guidance.
