Running Y Ranch Resort

First room: lights didn’t work in the bathroom. Second room: water was lukewarm (apparently a chronic issue for 3rd floor rooms). Soap/ shampoo / body wash smell like old spice... it was gross. Staff was wonderful and did their best

Many of the facilities were closed either due to weather or covid precaution so I can't really rate it on a resort level. However, the room was spacious with a balcony and chairs. It was clean on arrival. But we did notice that "do not disturb" signs were not available and house keeping did not inquire if we would like our room cleaned. For us this was not a requirement. But I'm guessing if required by others then a simple call to the front desk for a request might work. Other than that it was very quiet and beautiful setting. We're thinking of coming back hopefully in the summer should covid and weather permit other facilities at the resort to open.

Very comfortable stay.

The beds were very uncomfortable and the shower kept backing up. And for a resort the rooms were only average size .

Ended up staying just a short time overnight on the drive to Portland. The grounds, lobby and common areas are beautiful. Rooms are about a 4. Large charge per night for pets, but pet 'goody bag' or anything that most other hotels give and have lower pet charges.

Check in was smooth however our first room had a non working toilet, the replacement room smelled horrible (weed) and the 3rd try had filthy a/c filters and 5 years worth of dust on the vent covers. There was a 3” streak on the shower curtain that we hoped was just makeup. If you’re sensitive to smells definitely don’t stay here, the beds smelled super perfumery, as if sprayed with Febreeze or washed in scented laundry detergent. It was very strong. We stayed with the third room as we were pretty worn out from moving in and out of rooms. We were able to open the window to air it out. Maintenance was super quick to respond and clean the filters. No additional accommodation such as a drink voucher or room upgrade or even an apology was offered. The resort is very nice and has nice amenities.

Beds looked like they had peaks and valleys and felt like it, good thing I had two beds in the room because the first one I tried to climb in to the sheets were wrong and had body hair all over it like they didn’t bother replacing the sheets. Hand towel had pink make up on it, the bathroom wall was covered in nose boogers, right by the bed and the bed skirt was white crusty stuff all over it, the AC unit filter and vents were covered in dust bunnies and never been cleaned! The worst place I’ve stayed ! This was not a resort!

The resort really is beautiful with lots of great accommodations. That being said I was a little let down by the amount of noise I could hear in my room. If you have someone in the adjoining room next to you be ready to hear everything. And I do mean everything! Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Bedding is poor

Our first night’s reservation was dropped by “a computer update issue” leaving us without a place to stay after driving 11hours, not good at all. However, Mariah was able to get us a room at your other hotel in town. Thank you Mariah
