Treatment of guest: On arrival, manager was very unprofessional and unhelpful to say the least. Also raised her voice which is unacceptable. Couldn't find my booking then said it was only for one night not three as I'd booked. The actual place: firstly, it's a dodgy looking unmarked door, behind which is a very steep staircase. I was on the top floor and it took ages to drag suitcases up. Avoid if you have a large suitcase, any walking difficulty at all, or a pram! Also, the entire place was dirty, marks all over every single surface: walls, floors, everywhere, as if they'd stopped caring a decade ago. Fridge and freezer were broken, and lights cut out one night.

Check in process was about the only positive, very quick and easy. Had to leave a credit card swipe as a security deposit.... having opened the door to the “suite” I’m not sure what I could have done to the room to warrant £200 damage! The room carpet was thread bare. The wall had peeling wallpaper and more worryingly Damp mark all over the wall. The kitchen cabinets were falling apart and the general furniture and fixtures were tired and in DESPERATE need of a refurb! Bathroom was at least clean ish. Although the shower arm didn’t lock in and was useless and kept sliding down. Only positive is the location. Near nice pubs and restaurants . Would not recommend.... spend a few quid more and stop somewhere better..... I’d have gone elsewhere but there were no alternatives nearby.

The room was very clean and practically set out (the little kitchenette behind the wardrobe doors. I could possibly stay there for a few more days (we only said for a night). We were in room 10 which is right at the top and they have no step free access so not good If you have a lot of luggage or a disability. There was a beautiful city view, just wish we could sit on the rooftop but the windows don’t open wide enough

Great place to stay! Nice size, clean room with lovely bathroom and kitchenette. Ideal for the tube into London. You even get free slippers!! Would use again next time we go to London

We were satisfied with our stay. The hotel provides a modestly priced place to stay in London. The room is small, but clean. It includes a small kitchen facility. The WiFi connection is very good. Plenty of hot water. Lighting was good for reading in bed, but there are no chairs. The location is good, just a five minute walk to the Underground, and there are some good cafes and pubs nearby.

There is no lift and there is no given info about it. Your hotel should have lift because of the luggage. The attitude of the receptionist doesn’t feel too nice. The floor above us is very noisy. The bed and shower is nice tho. The temperature that I can control is nice too.

The apartment door is not very noticeable at first and I had to ask locals where it was. I then had to go to another building about 500 metres away for the key. As you enter the building there us a steep set of stairs so if you have mobility issues it is no use as there is no other form of access. The room was tired and not very clean. It was marketed as a studio apartment however it is not even that. The small kitchen is squeezed into the area where the wardrobe would have been and with the cupboard doors open there is not much room to move. TheRe was a large gap under the door which I had to block with my bag to stop the light from coming through during the night. All in the apertment was in poor state and for what I paid I will not be staying here again

location is good. close to tube, train station. Stayed twice in last 2 weeks. First stay the front desk lady was nice. Room is clean but pretty small and many stairs. But can cook. That is good to save money since there are 3 grocery stores steps away. Had WiFi issue for 2 days. Fixed the second day. When I tried to leave my big suite case there for a 3 days tour, the front desk man told me not able to which was different from that lady's suggestion. So not consistant. Late he agreed so I was able to go without big case. When I back to re-check in. The front desk man asked me to pay in full in advance and deposit without explanation for what (no deposit for first time). And no smile and welcome at all. Anyway if you want to save some money and have easy access to public transportation to London downtown, this place may be a choice. BTW it can get Gatwick airport directly.

The hotel is very close to nearby transportation. The bus stops right infront of the entrance door or u can use the train at West Hampstead Station(Oyster card). There's a kitchen hood but it's not working so had to open the window while cooking. The room was a bit small but managable. The room was very clean and the nice clean lady is always there everyday if u need your room to be cleaned. We arrived early around 10am but our room was not ready. We left our luggages at the receptionist which is about 5-10 mins walk from the hotel's entrance door. There's no lift so need to carry your bags up the stairs. There's a few nearby convenience stores. Overall, the hotel is quite satisfactory
