What a lovely place to stay. Peaceful and a wonderful view

Very clean and well maintained. Sheets, bathroom etc all good and comfortable to use.

Great place to stay. Check in was easy, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

Upon request of early check in was told $25 per 2 hours late checkout $25. We paid $990 for two nights accom in the penthouse! When we booked paperwork said 2 bedroom penthouse apartment BUT only 1 unlocked bedroom, $25 for other one to be open, response was that's twin share (this was not on website) We booked for 2 adults it did not say a couple or individual adults! No Foxtel for all of our stay as had been turned off while hotel quiet during Covid. It was 2.30pm on our last day when we asked what was happening with it, was told didn't want to disturb you. We were led to believe we would have house keeping but didn't. Breakfast available on website but was pay for ingredients and cook yourself, not clear Nice touch to receive complimentary wine and chocolates but had to ring down to desk to actually find out if it was for us, a simple with compliments slip would have saved the embarrassment. Had to ask for more toiletries and coffee due to no servicing of the room. We totally get Covid has placed unusual changes on us all but would have liked to be informed before booking or even at check in. Front desk kept saying I totally understand, Manager we felt could not have cared less. We said could the website have at least been updated, Manager responded "we can't change them all! In Wallaroo in an apartment we paid good money for and felt disappointed, this could have all been avoided. Will not stay again and would not recommend paying such a high price for the penthouse.

Stayed Unit 14, Level 3. Warmly greeted by Lindley at reception, who was able to change rooms at short notice so we could glimpse the sunset over the water. We were a little disappointed that the units faced the marina (north) rather than northwest so that we could take advantage of the sunset over the water during Autumn. The room was generally well laid out and appointed. Not enough accessible power points for phone and laptop chargers , especially bedside and breakfast bar. Overall, the common property was looking a little bit tired, with maintenance required (patching and painting). Unable to get a decent Foxtel Jazz music channel due to restricted access. We were VERY disappointed not to have any milk portions provided for tea and coffee, especially given the reasonably extensive mini-bar. However, all that said, we enjoyed the stay despite the first world inconveniences.

Did not like the fact that the bathroom windows were not frosted so the blinds would always have to be drawn. the windows overlooked the car park. The balcony should have a side wall that overlooks the car park for privacy and a wind break. I now understand why the room was discounted as it probably always is the last one to rent out doe to it being next to the car park.

Love this hotel it is clean and comfortable and has great views. The front desk staff could be friendlier.

not much privacy in room 2 on level 1 - balcony overlooks beer garden is next door pub. Also quite noisy on that side if building if live band on (until 1.30am). Crockery and utensils had to be washed before we could use them, they had been put away dirty. Expected better at $270 per night in a small town. Car park underneath but small spaces difficult to manoeuvre if a large 4wd parked there already!
