Casa do Conto & Tipografia

Amazing hotel, just north of the centre. Easy 15 minute walk in. Attentive hosts, clean rooms and heavenly beds.

Intime and personalised service. Nice room and everything in place. Staff outstanding

We did not stay at either off the hotels but visited them both. Beautiful properties! Casa do Conto provided us with one of their apartment properties (Villa Loios) which was closer to the historical district. We loved it and the care and device was impeccable.

Property is very contemporary boutique hotel in older section of Porto. Close to most sites in the travel guides & some hidden gems. Staff is accommodating to guests’ needs. We didn’t like the 1/2 floor concept. Still had to take luggage 1/2 way up or down & over a gap at the door. My friend found this a little disconcerting. Buffet breakfast was wonderful continental+ & lounge open at night for drinks. Most staff spoke good English. This is for Travelocity—the address you gave to this property is the older one which is a block & 1/2 away. Please update as I didn’t pay attention to the address change in subsequent emails. Also, emphasize that even though you may be reserving a room for more than just one night, the hotel takes only one night’s pymt. for a retainer. Most of the properties you advertise take the entire amount. Was a bit surprised at arrival that I had to pay addt’l $300+.

The service was excellent overall, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. They gave me a complementary mobile phone with suggestions for sightseeing and basic apps like maps and uber ect. I would visit this property again anytime.

Unique and comfy! Clean, stylish, great shower and cozy bed

Really cozy yet modern stay at Casa do Conto. Was here with my boyfriend for 4 nights, and from we arrived till we left, we were taken care of and was warmly received by the hostess. Breakfast was included which was lovely. Overall, great stay and we enjoyed loads.

This is a special place t stay. Very comfortable and excellent facilities. Lovely pool with breakfast spot beside it. But what makes this place really special are the hosts.

We stayed in the new Tipografia and there were a few teething issues. They were preparing for the official opening and there were workmen, cables, tools etc all over the public spaces, which did not make them comfortable to be in so we couldn’t use them. Noise travelled throughout the hotel and disturbed the time we spent in our room. They only have 1 tea bag for two people, one pair of slippers and very small dressing gowns. However, the hotel is super stylish, very comfy bed and Mafalda was really very nice. Breakfast was good but not explained very well and the local area was just a short 10 minute walk into town. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants along the way.

A really interesting and comfortable small property. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
