repeatedly asked about delivery of orange juice with my continental breakfast, only to be told by the front desk they would ask the owner if more could be ordered. They have cases of it in the luggage room I saw this past week. Owner was never asked either. Also my breakfast is left on the dirty floor outside my apt. What happened to knocking and putting in the refrigerator? Gone from being OK to a place I wouldn't recommend.

Good simple apartment with comfortable bedding and a great location

The positives: The room size is reasonably generous. The location is great for Toorak Road & Chapel Street and all the things they have to offer. Negatives. I was shocked to discover there is a $30 per day fee for the car park. There is nothing on the key information section for this hotel on this website which indicates there is any fee, let alone one so high. The receptionist informed me it was in the fine print. I had to go searching for it and eventually found it very well hidden. I find this deceptive and not in good faith. Furthermore similar establishments in the area charge a lot less for car parking. As Silver member of Hotels.com I was supposed to receive a full breakfast at no extra charge. A full breakfast is a hot breakfast, cooked by somebody else. What I was given was a few slices of bread & a couple of packets of highly processed cereal. I'm quite happy to toast my own toast, but this is in no way a full breakfast. More deception.

This property was not as advertised. The room description included blackout drapes and blinds - we had cheap grey blinds that were certainly not blackout. We had no warning that our room would be overlooking South Yarra railway station and we were kept awake most of the night with trains tooting as they left the station. I researched the property thoroughly and it's address is one street over from the railway station. We barely slept for two nights. I knew it would be over 40 degrees the day we arrived so rang the hotel before booking to check that the bedrooms were individually airconditioned and was assured they were - they weren't. I arrived to find a window had been left open so the apartment was like an oven. I planned on spending some time by the rooftop pool - it turns out the roof top area is disgusting. The pool is a small shell just sitting on concrete with no water in it. A very disappointing stay and I would never stay here again.

I liked the space and privacy of the apartment. I didn't like that they had hidden chargers and that they took a secondary deposit for the room and I may have to wait up to 28 days for its return

Definitely only a 3.5 star hotel. Bed was uncomfortable, no outdoor areas to enjoy the sun. Staff were helpful and location was close to the train station. The hotel is fairly dated.
