Feel Hostels Soho Malaga

Very convenient, nice cheap breakfast €2.50 Arrived at 1.30 am and left at 7.45 am, so I was only there 6 hours but it was perfect for a quick sleep and go.

Good value for money in the center of Malaga. We stayed in a private room with bathroom and it was clean. Free wifi provided and discount on parking.

The hostel is basic, but I found it clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Their 2-euro breakfast is juice, coffee/tea, toast, and cereal. Very conveniently located to Centro Almeda metro station- like a 3 minute walk.

Very poor condition,we got the one towel each person from the counter. We deposit 5 Euro for towels. When we check out we take off sheet from the bed return with towel. I don"t recommend this hotel to other people.

The location is good and the staff were friendly. I was in a dormitory for 10 people on the ground floor. I’ve never tried staying in hostels before and for me I didn’t like not having privacy. I was travelling alone on this trip and am an older woman so I chose not to stay there for my holiday - the train to The costa del sol is cheap and reliable so I found alternative accommodation and commuted into Malaga to visit the attractions- I stayed half an hour away in Benalmádena

Comfortable and central location. Many people. Spacious bed with good bed light and plenty of plugs for charging. Like having bathroom in the bedroom. One con is the smell of the hostel and room - body odour. I guess from many travelers and constant flow.

Terrible experiensse. The matress has plastic and make big noice all night when you move. There are bugs I think flees. You could feel tiny legs on skin and head. The staff are really nice. But hotel quality s horrible. Showers hotbwater dont work. You get boiling or reallybcold water. There was no wifi only at loby. Then I reserved other night and was thrown at a jaillike room with no windows and working staff was there. There was no AIR CONDITION. and I reserved a room with AIR CONDITIONING AND A BALCONY. rhe mananger is so rude and would not care or resulve any issue.

Horrible experiense. There are bugs, still crawling invhair and my skin. Showers hot water didnt work sobIbtold then. They say “sorry the boiler was disconected because it was fixed now you need to wait 2 hours or go the the other side of building to shower”. I did, and the shower hot water didnt work, you get hot water for few seconds then really cold. It took me 2 hours to take a shower. I had cold so this was making it wost. Second issue. Room wifi, on reservation says free wifi, it seems nothing works at this hostal. They told me “there is no wifi in that room, you need to use the lobby wifi” The washing machine is in the luggage room whis is risky. Any body can open your bags. Then I had to add one night WHICH INCLUDE AIR CONDITIONING AND BALCONY!! They sent me to a jail like room with their staff/hostel workers. There was no windows and there was no air conditioning. They said in their system doesnt show AC was included. I showed them, it clearly includes. They said, “ actually there is air conditioning in that room, the thing is it doesnt work” For me this is a SCAM, you dont sell something you dont have. Dont advertise AC if there is No AC, period!! Malaga is really hot. And you need air conditioning. I talked to Vito about this, he was rude. They have time for new customers, but once you are stucked you are on your own. The lobby staff is so nice (with 2 exeptions). One of them even offered me a free coctel drink, I prefer the Ac working than the drink

Stayed for 2 nights in Room 36, a 4 bed dorm with a private bathroom. Each bed had a power socket and personal light. The bed linen where clean and there was an extra blanket for the winter. The mattress was covered with plastic sheeting. Unfortunately, this is something that really annoys me. The shower and toilet were separate and had automated lighting, with the washbasin located in the room. All clean on arrival and is cleaned everyday. The shower door doesn't go all way to the bottom. This and general water splash from the shower means that the water spills out into the room. One night, I had to spend 2 minute drying the floor, so another annoyance. The curtains in Room 36 really need fixing. It doesn't cover the whole window and isn't close enough to the window to shade light properly. So you end up with guests pulling the curtains to block out the light for themselves, only to open up the light for others. Each bed comes with a locker, which should be able to hold a large suitcase or rucksack. You'll need a padlock for it though. There's a kitchen on the top floor with cooking pots & pans, plates and other utensils. The kitchen is clean and kept clean by both guests and staff. The Wifi is accessible throughout the hostel even on the roof terrace and works great. Overall, there's a lot of good things in the hostel like the staff, the location and just general cleanliness. Then there's some annoyances.
