Best Western Hotel Posada Freeman Zona Dorada

I arrived in the afternoon, got my room and as soon as I sat down I realized there was an industrial construction site right next door! I asked to be moved to the other side considering the noise and unpleasant site next door but was told It had an extra cost! I called my representative at Hotels.com and was helped the next day. The hotel is located in a good spot lots of local stores and restaurants although the inside of the hotel was old but so.e what comfortable. It was supposed to be a week long stay good thing my representative assistant helped me with relocating!

So I booked the room for two queen beds for my parents and I about an hour and a half before arriving, that’s plenty of time for their system to reserve a room for us. Well we get there and the front desk lady says, “I just sold your room”. Ummm what? Yeah. She knew we were coming and she sold our room anyways. It turned into a huge deal and we ended up leaving because she didn’t want to accommodate us, even though it was her fault. She was rude, hateful, envious, and cold-hearted... a downright bully. Luckily Hotels.Com customer service was able to find us a resort as an apology and we were

Very strange layout. Elevator is micro sized. Two people without luggage MAX.. Drinks were warm and or very watered down. Noisy construction right next door.

All good, a bit noisy due to a construction next to the hotel. Great attention at the front desk. Food was good. Attention at the bar at the beach a bit slow cause some times nobody was in there.

It is set back from the street and was difficult to spot. Maybe it could be noted that it is in between El CID a ....

By the beach and great Breakfast buffet , also fantastic staff, me and my family are coming back to this place.

It was one of our best trips, loved the location of the hotel. From check-in to check-out the service was outstanding.

Do not rely on them to keep your reservation. They cancelled mine 1 day before the booking to sell locally.

Place is clean and centrally located to restaurants, business and entertainment.

there are actually 2 hotels in mazatlan named the best western posada freeman. as you can imagine this can lead to problems especially since one of them is a classic in excellent condition probably going back to the 1940's in the historical part of town and the other a nondescript property in the middle of party zone central. even worse the rates are actually higher at the zona rosa property. in any case we booked the wrong property and when we attempted to cancel the 2nd night there were told too bad. your error, no refund for night 2 which we didn't use .. we met other guests at both properties that had exactly the same situation happen to them. we feel that this is very unfair and could have easily been avoided it the properties were identified better. parking situation is a disaster at the zona rosa don't think there is enough room for 1/2 of the guests if the hotel is full we really enjoyed the view of the gravel empty lot next door, too
