Didn’t get a proper check in a just told to go wait in the restaurant for 3 hours until the residence was ready. The residence itself was lovely. Staff were disappointing as lots of waiting. Resort charges for everything At highly inflated prices. Disappointed at cost of everything . Eg. cost us $S160 to play archery for half an hour. Restaurants were average at best and dinner at seafood restaurant for 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) was $300. Extortion. So many staff doing nothing. Counted 8 staff at checkout and only one person doing checkout as only one cashier - surely all the staff could go through it and just send go to cashier to pay. Ridiculous. I would recommend staying here- facilities are tired and Run down. Rubbish on the beach and so much plastic waste
Amazing journey The spa is excellent
Stay was good but pickup from terminal was very unpleasant. We had elderly parents and Ritchie who cane to pick us up was very rude and made us wait in the sun for an hour for no apparent reason. He realized his mistake later but the resort is yet to take any action.
1. Coach provided upon arrival at Nongsa Ferry Terminal. A Montigo staff was waiting to guide us to the coach. They already have a list of all guests checking in that day but you can provide your arrival time beforehand by sending them an e-mail. 2. Very personalised check-in. You are welcomed with a refreshing lemongrass drink and a front desk staff will approach you to process your check-in. The staff is assigned to you before your arrival, would have done some research on your profile and is ready to answer all questions. We were assigned Teguh, a hospitable, warm and thoughtful indiviual :) We had told him we were on our mini honeymoon as a passing comment and he later surprised us with a big slice of cake and a band of singers not long after we checked into our villa! He took a photo of us with the band and at the end of our stay, surprised us again by providing a framed photo of that memory! 3. We booked a Premier Villa with Sea View, which had a private pool. Quiet and peaceful, with plenty of privacy. Villas are arranged in a way that ensures you are obscured from your neighbour and they would not be able to listen in on your conversation unless you shout with maximum vocal power. Villa was also spacious and big, with plenty of towels (2 for bathing, 2 for swimming). Bathroom was also very big. 4. Plenty of activities to do. We booked a couple package at their award winning spa and it was AMAZING! 5.Be prepared to wait for buggies to get around during high occupancy
Villa was big and pool was nice. However there were many problems 1) the sheets had stains 2) the toilet had a sewage smell 3)aircon was very noisy in one of the rooms 4)bathtub could not fill up as hot water was cut off suddenly 5) the location is very very deserted hard to find food around the area For the high price we paid completely unacceptable would not recommend.
Overall it was a fantastic stay. We stayed on the hilltop for my family of 4. It was my sisters birthday and Montigo was helpful in arranging for a cake during dinner and towel arrangement prior to our arrival. Correspondence over emails were replied timely. I had a small complaint over the in room BBQ ala carte items (it was not as per the indicated size) but the day after my complaint, someone from Montigo Whatsapp me to offer a discount. I would have preferred a refund but I would still give a 10/10 for service. The customers are heard and responded to. The rooms are clean and spacious. The private pool in the room is clean. Room service is fast. Calling of buggy services to bring us around is also fast. Breakfast selection is not too bad and the selection for the two times we are there were different. Choices of restaurants in this self contained villa resort are also not bad - in room bbq or steamboat, seafood restaurant, cafe and another fusion restaurant. The prices are relatively higher to take into account that this is a self contained resort but we were okay with that as everything we need for the 3 days were in the vicinity. My only comment is for the mini zoo - I think the goats look malnourished and their home made of stilts seem very uncomfortable. If only they can get a bigger home with comfortable resting space.

I spent one night with my parents and husband, and it was total disappointment. I would say facility is fair, but the staffs and services are very bad for 5 star resort. 1) Phone does not work in the property, so we had to link whatsapp for services. They know many properties have broken phones, but they don't have an intention to fix them. They just guided visitors to use Whatsapp and when I used it to call, sounds were really bad. Why don't they just make phones work initially? 2) Any service we requested ended up not completely done or came really late. For us to get what we requested, we had to made multiple requests because they forgot things. e.g., we requested for cooking pot, it never got delivered. Wine opener took 40 minutes to get to us. Buggy service didn't come after confirmation (3 times), so we had to wait outside for 20 min and ended up walking to reception with all our luggage. Took us 20 mins to get towel by the pool. It can go on.. 3) Restaurant choices are very limited. Only two restaurants available and they don't serve water. You have to buy water for $5. 4) It was raining when we got there and we had some spots with water dripping inside the villa. Near window, master restroom and stairs. 5) Hygiene - We found a line of ants in the morning, which came all the way from the whole on the wall. 6) Price - Not cheap. Water bottle from convenient store was $5. I bought it because they limited complementary water.
Nothing. The resort is not cheap but i do not get the satisfaction like when i visitwd other resort.
Our stay was great, clean hotel, very helpful staff, great breakfast. However we were really disappointed to see so much plastic in the sea right by the hotel. I understand all of it is not manageable to take care of, but I would hope that the hotel could invest some resources to clean it. We did our part and spent 40 minutes hoping it would make at least a small difference.
