Courtyard Morgantown

This hotel was great - very clean, quiet, comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was wonderful. Staff was accommodating. The only thing lacking was a microwave in the room, otherwise the stay was excellent.

(1) The lady at the front desk never wore a mask the whole evening. Guests were lounging downstairs with no masks on and no one enforced the mask mandate. (2) I was charged $212 for a smoking fee. I don’t smoke!!! My boyfriend smokes a few cigarettes a day and he always steps outside to take a puff because I HATE the smell of cigarette smoke. That night was no different. He stepped outside a few times to take a puff. The room did not smell. He always throws cigarette butts outside, etc. We called the hotel and the manager Justin said an employee who cleaned the room after we left said it smelled like smoke. I can assure you that is impossible. His clothes don’t ever even smell! There was no evidence whatsoever: no cigarette butts left in the room, no lighter, no ashes. Nothing!! We are both attorneys and understand due process and evidence. I will be disputing this charge. We have been calling for a week and can’t seem to even receive any paperwork from the hotel that would give us a chance to dispute. We have spent probably at least 20 nights at hotels just this year. We’ll never stay at a Marriott hotel again. This is unconscionable.

We always try a new hotel when coming down to visit our daughter at WVU. I enjoyed the location of this hotel and how convenient it is to tons of food and shopping options. Wonderful view overlooking Morgantown from the back patio with a fire pit. Appreciated both the pool and gym being open. I was very impressed with how clean the hotel was and our room. The only reason i won't give it a 5 is the beds are hard we have stayed at other Marriott hotels with much softer beds. Overall the stay was good and i would use the hotel again.

Conveniently located. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Liked the fire pit .

I love the view of Morgantown from this hotel and the hotel is beautiful. The only thing I do not like is the room does not have a microwave.

Great hotel. Really nice view from our room. We could see all of the WVU campus(Evansdale and Downtown). Nice spacious clean room!!

Nice Hotel, conveniently located, quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off at 6:45 AM.

Just a short trip up to Pennsylvania for some home improvement materials...and needed a place to stay and Morgantown is a safe and beautiful place. Stayed there going and coming home.
