CVK Park Bosphorus Hotel Istanbul

The hotel i visit 4 years ago was perfect but now i went it was terrible in every thing specially the staff if horrible in hospitality and kindest and disrespectful when you talk to them for example i asked to take some shopping bags to the room in the lobby they were so rude when i asked I never recommend and let any one i know visit this hotel another time

It started off well. We had 2 rooms, one for me and my husband and another for our 2 grown up sons. It was my son’s 30th birthday on 8th October 2020 and i asked at check in if a cake could be arranged. After 2 reminders it was but very simple, not even a Happy Birthday on cake! Then at check out we were accused of breaking the TV in the boys room! This was very upsetting and humiliating. We had been in out of the hotel most of the time. My husband and son both had hospital treatments done, we spent most time at hospital or out, we had no time to watch TV and had not touched it. Reception staff showed me a picture of the TV with a scratch on it and insisted i go to the room with him and the cleaner to check it out. I was fuming as the boys insisted they had not touched the TV, they are grown mature men. When i argued with reception staff that we were not responsible they made me sign a statement to say i was not responsible. We were already anxious as we were going back to the hospital after checkout then to the airport. This situation ruined our experience of the hotel and i felt very upset and humiliated. When i returned home, i remembered i had taken pictures of the TV when we first entered the room as it was personalised with a welcome message, when i zoomed in, the damage was already there so i have proof just wish i had remembered to check my pictures at the time!! I will wait for an apology from hotel management and a good will gesture as compensation!!

THey said they could not use my debit/credit card which I had used all over Europe. They needed a secondary credit card to charge the room. Pretty unbelievable. And the pool is very cold. Not impressed for a 5 star. I expect better.

This was the last night of our trip to Turkey and we were looking forward to spending it in a beautiful hotel with a fantastic restaurant and bar to celebrate. We were very disappointed. The hotel is in a beautiful location but has seen better days. The hotel room was clean but a little dated and there was a lighting system keypad which was very confusing. And worse, the lights in the room automatically went on by themselves at 6 AM, waking us up from our sleep. The restaurant/bar was also very disappointing with a very odd menu and stranger clientele. Oddly, there is a full size swimming pool in the restaurant which also detracts from the atmosphere. For the price, I would not recommend this property and wish we had stayed at the Ritz Carlton where we had started our vacation.

Nice hotel in the center, good location, we had a room with Bosphorus view, it was amazing. Breakfast was pretty good.

Nice, clean hotel with good location!!! Excellent breakfast! And 5star concierge service from Sem ! This guy made difference!!! THANKS SEM ONE MORE TIME!!!

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The only problem was the breakfast area. Unlike before, the area is busy and unfortunately it effected the service. The servers can’t keep up with orders.

A nice place to stay, but it could have been so much better. The service is good but the food is a let down

To have a fair review the hotel upgrade me to 3 bedroom from the two bedroom that i originally booked but First for kids there is nothing no activity's even the pool they need adult all time, i have asked them to remove the mini bar from my room and at the check out they charged me for the whole thing this is the first time i pay for something i didn't use. they charge me 500 euro for damaging a plain area rug which don't cost at the most more than 200$. mini bar is awful sometimes they take two days to get you a tea bag or milk room service is a nightmare if you ask for water at night they will bring it after 10 hours claiming they are busy.
