We were a group of seven friends that had booked the villa that Ifigenia owns. On the home page of hotels.com it says that the villa is in the center of the old town in Chania. When we arrived we discovered that the villa was located far away, up in the mountains. We spent 100 Euro on two taxis to go to the villa and back to town! We had to find new rooms for all seven in the old town. We have asked both Ifigenia and hotels.com for a refund. We have sent over proof of the taxi bills and the payment receipt for the new room we had to book. But no response so far other than mails asking for receipts. am really sorry for the way both hotels.com and Ifigenia treated us. I have been member of hotels.com for 15 years, and they always have given good service.
