Motel 6 Las Cruces, NM - Telshor

The only complaint I would have is that the surrounding areas of property were littered with trash. Not the actual parking area but just beyond that.

There's no coffee maker or coffee in the room. And the acoustics is very poor. You can hear every step that every person takes upstairs above you and next door you can hear them practically talking for whatever moving around. So I figured that other hotels were putting coffee in the rooms that already have refrigerator from microwaves like this one does and I thought that maybe motel 6 would too they had a 8.2 I think it was rating on hotels.com. even though there were coffee machines in the lobby there were signs on it that no coffee was available due to covid. So I expected possibly a small coffee maker in the room which has nothing to do with the restriction on covid. Other than that the room was pretty clean very basic TV and refrigerator and microwave and a little container to get ice. There are no drawers no dresser drawers if you wanted to hide something out forget it. I like to put my briefcase in my wallet keys in a drawer where they're out of view in the event that you know house cleaning did come in and do a quick you know cleaning or something. so the openness of it is not as homey as some places. Other than that it was fine for the price the price was low and I thought it was pretty well maintained for a motel 6. Most motel 6s are a nightmare. The only reason I stated this one is because I saw a rating of quite a few eight point something.

Check in was good. The front office staff was very friendly. Room was good for the price. Only set back I had was with the Wifi that was not able to connect. Kept getting an error message. I called the front desk they stated that they re boot the service and try again in a few minutes. After a few mins I try and same thing this time to tablet, cell and laptop all same error. Called the front office again and they said it might be my device I let her know it happen to all three devices. So after a couple of hours I attempted to try again and the same thing. I called the front like 3 times before answer this time is was a different staff member repeated my story and again was told the same thing. The tone and directions were directed if I was kindergarten student. I try to stated the error message but was cut off after the fourth try I was able to speak. Just to get an answer of “never heard of that error”. Finally I just have up. If I would have know that the Wifi was not working I would have requested a refund or cancellation and gone to a different hotel. Not once did they offer to come help assist or advice me to come Down to show me what I was supposedly doing wrong I have stayed at this facility many times and never had an issue with the Wifi. This was the final time I would ever stay at this establishment. Another story from last time I had stayed the night there

Motel is short for Motorists' Hotel - it usually has outside corridors with parking near the room. I'm a woman in her 60s who travels with a cat and dog, and usually like Motel 6 because I can park near my door and carry the pets, litter box, beds, bowls, and food a short distance. I always request first floor. This building is really a hotel. I was put on the 3rd floor. They have the usual luggage carts, but it was awkward managing it through two sets of heavy glass manual doors that aren't even in a straight line - only to reverse the procedure 12 hours later. The room was comfortable, although I could hear conversations up and down the inside corridor. The atmosphere was nicer than the ordinary Motel 6, but was not what I was expecting. Side note - the desk clerk refused the company card that we have used in motels throughout the country because it had the company name, not mine, on it. Every other Motel 6 has been fine with it.

Property was newish looking. Room.was clean. Good shower. Room was on1st floor. I coud open window. It seemed like an intruder might be able to open it also... that bothered me

Older motel, older furniture etc but well maintained and clean.Good place for a quick overnight stay . Close to freeway and reasonably priced.
