Flamingo Motel

The best Motel for kids and have stayed there since the 80's. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Really happy with the unit, much bigger than expected, super clean and excellent value for money. Great facilities and really friendly staff.

Good location, friendly staff, loved the pool and the kitchen had everything we needed.

2 swimming pools are a bonus! The carparking is so tight and awkward.

Property was very nice. Handles could be changed on vanity in bathroom which would update unit. Consertina door to toilet needs a drop of oil or something. Pity no room to change to a sliding door. It really is dated. Also NO toilet bowl cleaner or brush - simple needs a small plastic well labelled container (with safety cap) of loo cleaner to be next to air freshener on window sill(out of range of children) and a loo brush from $2.00 shop. Otherwise very nice, very very clean.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Kids very happy around the pool. Great to have indoor and outdoor pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo Motel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pools and play area were perfect for the kids. The kitchen had all the utensils that we needed. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the double room unit and it was great. Clean facilities and plenty of linen for us all. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the many amenities on offer including indoor and outdoor pools. This is a large motel with lots of units. We booked during a weekend where there were various events in the area so the motel was very full. The parking is a little bit tight and regrettably while we were out, someone took it upon themselves to park outide our room which meant we had to park elsewhere and walk to our room. Nothing the motel could have done really as there is ample parking available, just inconsiderate guests in other rooms. My only real gripe is the fact that there is a garden/ island in the middle of the driveway that diverts incoming and outgoing traffic (enter to the left, exit straight). It makes complete sense and I understand its purpose, however someone had parked poorly in the 1st available space on the entrance side of the dividing garden which blocked access to the road and forced other motorists (including us) to enter in the exit lane. Again not a deal breaker but could have been a nuisance had someone been trying to come out. Aside from parking issues (caused by guests NOT the motel or staff) everything was exceptional. Would 100% stay again.

Kids loved the pools. Excellent BBQ. Brilliant hosts.
