Good location but the street was noisy. Did not had a good sleep at night

Lovely restaurant and disgusting hotel rooms. There are no air conditioners, the fans are noisy, it is impossible to open the windows at night because there is a bar in front of the hotel that is open until 3 in the morning! Screams and noise until 4am !! Impossible to sleep !!

This hotel has a great location but the room we had was terrible. If you don’t want any frills this is the place but at Luzern prices. The beds were ok. The drapes consisted of blue sheer drapes. There was a chair, plain white walls. The bath was a sitz bath, very hard to get into and the hand holds were loose. In fact all the shower fitments were loose. Breakfast was ok. Our room was nothing like the picture.

Value for money. Not in the heat of the titan but not far. Ready access on foot to everything you need in Lucerne. The lack of a kettle and fridge was a little annoying but otherwise it was good. We weren't there in the height of summer, so didn't need ac. The wishes and the fan was enough.

We stayed here because the price was affordable and we had a rental car to get out to Lauterbrunnen for the day. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. There was no aircon, but there was a fan.

Internet not so good, especially to do anything more than read emails.

The hotel is well situated for exploring Luzern. The family room we stayed in was laid out well with a sliding door between the two sleeping areas and a patio accessible from both rooms. Unfortunately, it was very hot on the 5th floor and even keeping the patio doors wide open and fans blasting did not help much. Breakfast buffet had pretty good food, but the music in the dining area drove us crazy. They literally played the same song on repeat the whole time (Musak version of an ABBA song the second day, ack)! If the plan was to discourage people from lingering over the meal, it worked. No music at all would have been so much better. Also, couldn't get the hair dryer to turn on but didn't have time to ask them to fix it. In short, the room and hotel served our purposes, but I wouldn't highly recommend it. Luzern itself was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring it, taking a boat tour on the lake, and dining by the river.

Lucerne is an expensive place in Switzerland. Despite paying for the most out of my trip to Geneva, Bern and Lucerne, this place is without a doubt the worst hotel I have stayed. The hotel room is under basic. It is just a room with bathroom. It is dated and missing basic amenities. Would not recommend anyone saying there. We chose that place initially for its location being close to city centre. If knowing the city is so small and the public transport is so good, we would have chosen a further away but better hotel to stay.

Convenient location. Basic rooms. My single got upgraded to a double but it would have been very small for 2 people.
