Great service. We checked in and the air conditioner was making a loud rattle. We called and someone showed up within minutes and moved us.

I know it was not their fault. But COVID deleted our buffet breakfast that was included in our stay. The inn did their best to make up for that by giving out sealed breakfast items like bagels with cream cheese, yogurt along with some fruit, juice and coffee.. They were very polite and helpful. Our studio room was well equipped with essentials. Bed was very comfortable. The temperature monitor was hard to regulate. Overall our stay was very good. We will be back.

Really like the layout of the room and kitchen area as well as the desk. Very functional and pleasant. Is next to a nice neighborhood which is a good place to walk or run. Short walk to Whole Foods and Dollar General.

Spacious clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. Quiet and pet friendly. The location is great for walking and access to town and restaurants. Would certainly stay here again.

The room was very nice and having the kitchen downstairs available to get a meal and eat in our room was nice. Breakfast was good, too.

The first issue we had is that we could not find parking at night, even in the overflow lot across the street. The second issue we had was the blanket of the pull-out sofa. It obviously had not been properly washed (or at all) as it was filled with hair. I had to hide it from my wife or she would refuse to stay in the room.

We used the shuttle to pick us up from the hospital & Brad the driver was so very helpful. He was careful to help me into the van with special stepstool, and loaded/unloaded all of our things. There were complimentary wheelchairs to use and a carry wagon for groceries or carryone luggage. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Everything from start to finish was great. Location, Price, Breakfast, Staff, etc.... all top notch. I will certainly stay here every time I visit Duke.

The service was poor. This is one of the first times I’ve ever been to a hotel in which NO ONE was at the front desk to greet you when you walked in. I actually had o stand and wait and looked around saying hello? Before someone appeared from behind a buzzered door. It was disconcerting. The next morning when we came back in, it was the same. No one around. Then when a desk person did appear, and I asked for the volume to be turned up on one of the TVs in the lobby, it took her 10 minutes to get back to me because she was the only person working. When she did get back to me, she said she’d been informed that they didn’t have any remotes and couldn’t raise the volume on the nearly silent TVs. This doesn’t meet Marriott standards by any stretch.
